I honestly never heard of taking a cat to a groomer, since they groom so much for themselves. But this cat has longish fur, and it had gotten in a mess. He was having trouble with hairballs, and I blamed it on his hair! They do cat baths! So I took him. I was not notified that the groomer called out sick until I called to let them know I was pulling up outside with my dog . The Assistant Manger stated her girls were fully booked up and could not accommodate my dog to be groomed but could reschedule her for a later date . The Assistant Manger also stated "she can not make a sick groomer come in" , she is correct ! however , she can not make someone come into work but since it was an inconvenience and last minute she could have had her girls accommodate my dog . It was very inconvenient and very unprofessional. I also did not drive a short distance . They lack communication since nobody reach out.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!…read more It is a horrible establishment that purposely neglects the animals they're selling (i.e. hamsters, ferrets, rabbits, and guinea pigs). These poor animals are kept in tiny cages huddled in the middle of the store when the entirety of the store is HUGE! They could easily get bigger cages for them and spread them out, but it seems they care more about their inventory than the well-being of the animals they're selling. They're not given anything to play with, chew on, or to stimulate themselves. The animals aren't getting properly socialized with humans, and it seems these animals are used for decoration because of the way they are so obviously disregarded by the staff. Additionally, the staff/associates there were not friendly or welcoming whatsoever. When I entered the store, I was not greeted by the several staff standing behind the counter. As I walked throughout the store, I was not offered any assistance by the staff. If I had needed any sort of assistance, I probably would've had to go chasing down one of their associates since they were all huddled in the corner of the business giggling and laughing. Judging by the number of 1 star reviews this establishment has regarding the behavior of the staff in the past and my experience today, management doesn't seem to care enough to fix the clear problems they have with their incompetent staff, nor do they care enough to train them properly. Overall, I will NOT be supporting a business that doesn't care about the well-being of their animals, nor their customers.

I was asking questions about owning one because I have only had dogs and cats. I was beside the kitten cages and this sweet little kitten kept meowing and sticking her little paws out. I said let me see the kitten. She rolled her eyes and made a rude comment. I said why did you say this. She rudely said you came in to buy a bunny now you wanna see the kitten! I'm like AND!?! She walked away and the Assistant Manager helped me purchase the kitten. That rude, unprofessional, bully Manager doesn't need to work with humans or animals....I will now start shopping at the Burlington or Chapel Hill pet-stores in the future.
