My annual dental visit was long overdue and while looking around for dentists I came across Ramani Dentistry. They had good reviews on many factors of patient care with staff that seem well qualified too, so went with them. I've been very happy every step of the way ever since. Be it the friendly and efficient office staff who helped with scheduling, the nicely set up online forms system or most importantly the dentists/hygienists themselves. The office itself is super clean and swanky. Preethi my hygienist was very friendly, thorough and explained very well to me every step of the way. Dr. Ramani, who seems like the main dentist here makes sure to stop by and discuss details with the hygienist and me at every appointment which I think is a nice touch and makes me feel more at ease. Having been happy with my experience my husband and toddler have also visited and are happy about it. Hope you are too! read more

Ramani Dentistry - Waiting area - General Dentistry Near Me - South Lyon, Michigan

Parents beware - The hygienist had me wait in the waiting room today and took my kids back one at a time. Without realizing it, Dr. Ramani spoke with my kids (10 and 8 years old) about their dental visit/health today and refused to update and or talk to me (their mother). When I confronted, they were visibly annoyed I inquired. When I spoke with her about them being minors and how inappropriate that was- she was rude and short tempered and said she was short staffed - which is no wonder as I overheard her laying into a poor employee from the lobby area when I arrived. Guessing they will still charge my insurance for a visit with her too.... read more

I recently had a crown done on a tooth I had fractured. It was the best experience that I have had. The assistant was very caring and made sure I was comfortable. The doctor was took time to explain what was x needed and why, and made sure I had no discomfort. The temporary crown was so good it felt like my own tooth. I had to wear it longer than usual as I was dealing with my husband's health issues, and the temp stayed on with no issues! Just had permanent crown placed and can't believe how great the fit is. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They make you feel like you are special every time you come in. Great office, I highly recommend them. read more

Dr Ramani is fantastic. We were here visiting relatives and I had a crown come off. My daughter in law has lived here for several years and dr ramani is there family dentist. They think she is great and I agree. On Christmas Eve dr ramani agreed to open her office and help me out. She re-attached the crown and even sent me home with some extra cement just in case I need it. I am extremely grateful. read more

My husband and I were seeing a dentist for over 35 years And he retired on us. We thought we would never be comfortable with another dentist. We were so wrong. Dr. Ramani is an extremely efficient and kind dentist. Her staff is efficient and helpful. One thing I noticed today about Dr. Ramani is she was concerned about my disabled husband. She looked at him as he came in for a crown and she came to the waiting room to tell me he just doesn't look up this work today. I quickly said, "Just as I've sensed with her, the patient is so important to her. ive never met a such an honest, caring dentist and her staff is great. The office Is impeccable too! read more

I needed a dentist in the area and my friend suggested Dr. Ramani. I am extremely happy with the care I've gotten. Since June 2016, I've had 5 appointments - 2 cleanings, 1 cavity filling, a deep cleaning separated into two appointments. The office is extremely high tech, which I love. I like the TV on the ceiling. Everyone is nice. Dr. Ramani is very professional, kind, and informative. She puts me at ease, which is a great quality for a dentist because who actually enjoys going to the dentist, am I right? She gives you options of treatment, but doesn't issue you into getting something you don't want to do. My hygienist is Mira and I love her! She does my regular cleanings and also my deep cleaning. She is professional, friendly, and prompt. Actually everyone is prompt. I've never had to wait long to be seen. I'd highly recommend Dr. Ramani and her staff. read more

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Ramani & her office crew. I've had an infected tooth issue that she's been top notch with helping me. Since I was in a lot of pain initially, she's treated me and has even personally called me to check on me. She even sent me a few texts (from her home too) to check on me the past 2 weeks. Today I went back in her office & she got me immediately into an Endodontist, which I drove straight to and they had sent my x-rays before I even left the office. All I had to do was to leave Dr. Ramani's office and drive straight to the Endodontist. Then, I called with an update after the Endodontist since I then was referred to see a Periodontist. Again, Dr. Ramani's office (Lisa) had the emailed referral and ppwk for me waiting in my email by the time I got home so I could then immediately call the Periodontist to call to make an appt. Dr. Ramani initially suspected it might be a cracked tooth on an old root canal and the Endodontist pretty much confirmed that today. I totally trust Dr. Ramani and you should too! Dr. Ramani and her office are totally top notch and my family and I just can't say enough about them. I've been saying this since I moved here 4 yrs ago and every time my family or I go there, we are reminded of their professionalism, care, treatment and definitely their friendliness. To sum it up... if you're looking for an amazing dentist who's also up for dental challenges & creative dental work, go see her & her amazing staff! read more

I had an excellent experience today at Ramani Dentistry! I had a crown come off last evening and they were able to fit me in this morning to repair it! They evaluated the crown and the tooth and determined the best and most thorough path to proceed. The doctor made a point to say they wanted to do extra methods that would help ensure it bonds better this time, even though it would be more painful for me and more extensive for them! Each of the hygienists that I met were extremely polite and professional, even the ones who were training! The doctor herself was amazing! She was very thorough and explained everything along the way! She even apologized each time my sensitive tooth hurt! I would certainly go back and would recommend to others! As a matter of fact I scheduled a cleaning for next month already! read more

This place has been going downhill, very fast ! They have let all the good employees, (that actually knew what they were doing ) go ! Dr Ramani's work is sub par also . I have had fillings come out , weeks after they were put in , and there are large gaps in between my teeth now , where food always gets stuck, so I have to floss every time I eat! So do yourself a favor -drive bye this place and go somewhere else! read more

This is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. They have been very accommodating to my fear of going to the dentist and have helped me conquer those fears! Mira has been my hygienist since day 1 and I couldn't be luckier! She is the sweetest girl around. Dr. Ramani is one of the most caring people I've ever interacted with. Big thanks to the whole team. I was begging this dentist for weeks to get me a sooner appointment because I was in pain and considering going to an Urgent Care to get treatment, I got scheduled a month later. When the filling she had done was still causing me pain, she attempted to correct it, overlooking a crack in the tooth and instead broke the tooth. Suddenly I am having what was a perfectly healthy tooth removed by an oral surgeon, leaving me with a strange/painful bite and a week of missed work, after over 10 years of expensive orthodontic work. Frankly, I am surprised this dentist has not been sued for malpractice yet. She will not tell you what she is doing when she is prying in your mouth. I had no idea what she was doing until after she had maimed my mouth irreparably. She then tells you your options are a crown or extraction like money grows on trees. She hands out $5 starbucks gift cards to appease people that are harmed or inconvenienced - No thanks. I would rather have all of my teeth intact. The emotional distress and physical pain I endured going to this dentist was a nightmare. read more
