Their reviews just seemed exceptionally positive and specific/detailed. I'm happy to say that their work matched their reputation and they did a great job. Vitali was very responsive and helpful; pricing was very fair as well. At the end, I overestimated the square footage of my floors and ended up paying less than what was quoted. Very happy with everything and they made extra effort to make my deadline. Only suggestion would be better communication on the status or timeline so we have the same expectations.

Every cut, every grout line, every transition is executed with real precision and pride. This is craftsmanship in the truest sense. Communication throughout the project was clear, responsive, and professional. We always knew what to expect and when. Their workspace was kept remarkably clean, which anyone who's lived through a renovation knows is rare and deeply appreciated. Most impressive was the thoroughness of the finished product. Nothing was left halfway or "good enough." Every corner, every edge, every detail was completed to a standard that made it clear this team genuinely cares about the work they put their name on. Can't recommend them highly enough.

We only had a one week window from the day we closed until our movers were scheduled to arrive because our short term lease was up, which was really stressful. We needed over 3k sq foot of flooring installed and Nabil and his team did an amazing job. Not only were they able to get all the flooring installed but also all of the last minute requests that I came up with, such as, painting the entire interior of the house, installing new electrical outlets, hanging TVs etc. Nabil was very patient with me and was fair on pricing. After such a great experience we decided to hire Nabil again to remodel our master bathroom and build me a one of a kind detached home office. Once again he and his team exceeded my expectations and accommodated all of my changes and additions along the way. By the end, he completely renovated the entire master suite and he even built a gorgeous deck off the side of my office. Due to Covid related impacts to the global supply chain we encountered many challenges when it came to sourcing materials. Nabil and Shannon were there to help us navigate, pivot and find alternatives at every obstacle. Were there snags and unexpected delays along the way? Sure, but they were due to the manufacturing/sourcing delays and without Nabil's help it would have been far worse. Some of the delays actually ended up being a blessing in disguise because Nabil helped us find alternative products that we ended up loving even more than our original choices! I have worked with many contractors throughout my life and when you find someone that you can trust to do things right, with high quality workmanship and pride in what they do, it's worth every penny. I sleep well knowing everything was done to code and it looks amazing.

David was our project manager and he was the reason the whole thing went smoothly. He walked us through the scope before we signed anything, so we knew what we were getting and what it would cost. When they opened up the floor and found a drain line that needed to be replaced, he called us the same day, explained what it meant, and gave us the options instead of just presenting a bill. It got handled and the schedule held. The crews were respectful of the house and cleaned up at the end of every day, which matters a lot when you're living through a remodel. The kitchen came out better than we pictured it. If you're deciding between contractors in San Diego, these are the ones to call.

What stood out was how much they actually cared. We'd text dumb questions at 8pm and still get a real answer. When we flipped the kitchen layout halfway through (sorry guys), they didn't make us feel bad about it. The 400 square foot addition ties into the existing house so cleanly you genuinely can't tell where the old stops and the new starts. They showed up when they said they would. Site was clean at the end of every day, which sounds small until you've lived through a remodel. The subs they brought in were solid. Lucy in the office kept us looped in on scheduling and payments so nothing ever caught us off guard. Construction stuff still came up, of course. A plumbing issue behind a wall, a backordered window. But every time, it was a conversation and a fix, not a fight over who was paying. Isaac wasn't the cheapest of the three bids we got. He was the only one who walked us through the scope line by line so we actually understood what we were paying for. No surprise charges at the end, which I hear is rare. If you're looking at a remodel or an addition in San Diego, these are the people.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!…read more Everything about our project went smoothly thanks to the help of Nathan/Helene and of course Scotty. Originally my wife and I planned to replace all of our carpeted areas with by vinyl flooring from Costco as a weekend DIY project. After the first room, I found that my concrete subfloors were not even and the outcome was pretty bad. We ended up getting quotes from various contractors but Floored Installations was the only group that actually said they could do the install without using quarter round. Easily the best quote we received but that's not even the best part. Floored installations was able to give us an estimate right away and even scheduled us the following Monday. The entire project was just over 2000 sqft and took a week to complete with Nathan and Scotty. They both worked efficiently and the finished product more than met our expectations. In fact, we actually expanded the project to include our stairs after seeing how good the flooring looked compared to the old carpet. With our last minute add, they were able to fit us into their schedule the following week. Pros: -Reasonable pricing -No hidden costs (everything was quoted into the price include the baseboard adjustments and self leveling). Only had to buy transition pieces myself which they told me how many to get. -Very responsive communication -Cleaned the work area pretty well allowing us to just do a once over with the vacuum and mop. -Attention to detail Cons: -Honestly can't think of any.

Steve was recommended by several Qualcommers so I put him on my "call" list. Of the 10 tilers I called Steve was the only one to provide a written estimate for the job. He also handled all materials purchases (tile, cement, grout, underlayment.) And he suggested using a new underlayment material (Ditra by Schluter, a plastic roll-down matrix that gets filled with cement) that saved both time and weight of materials. Steve stayed in close contact throughout the job which took about a week. He smoothly handled a problem with the materials (several boxes of tile were too large by almost 1/4" and had to be replaced.) The results: an excellent tile floor in our new unit, and a firm (Straughn Construction) that I will happily recommend to anyone.
