Josh and team are awesome. We needed to get a pathway created on the side of our house that was…read moreconstantly muddy. Wanted a simple crushed gravel and pavers pathway that would eliminate the mud and yet still allow us to walk to the backyard, get our trashcans, etc. And, we wanted it to look attractive. We had reached out to a few landscapers/contractors to get some bids, but was astonished at how flaky some of them were. But Josh was super professional, arrived on time and provided a very fair bid. He had the best price, plus I really appreciated his detailed explanation and timeframe. I was a little reluctant because they didn't have any reviews on Yelp, but they do have reviews on Google, plus I checked out their work on FB. I'm glad we went with Josh and his team. Straight up awesome. He stayed on top of the communications. I also appreciated being able to pay the deposit for materials via credit card through his invoicing system. There is small fee, but worth it to have the peace of mind. The communications from Josh was great. There was rain, which delayed things, but he always called and texted to keep in touch and plan around the rain. This was super important to me to be kept up to date, which he did. The work was to take place over a few days. On the first day of work they showed up on time and was very professional. I was able to check in on the progress and Josh kept me informed every step of the way. At the end of each day of work they cleaned up, kept the work site organized, and I always knew what was to happen next. The final work was top-notch. Both my wife and I were very happy. It actually turned out a little better than anticipated, which is huge. Happy wife, happy Moe (haha). I would absolutely work with Josh and the Litescape team again and would happily recommend them!

A small crew came in and raked up at the leaves, bundled them up and hauled them away, and then mowed and cleaned up the plantings. They quoted the job up front and there were no surprises. All good. Next I hired them to replace a fence that was falling into my mother's yard. Turned out there was a long standing dispute with the prior owner and the neighbor - this had to be done right. Rick's crew, led by Luis, came in, removed the old fence, laid out the new posts, and quickly finished the fence shown in the last two photos below. What I really appreciated was Luis' experience which fixed some things I specified and made them better. Since this job I've hired them for one more fence and two more garden projects. All have been successful. What I'm very happy with is they do good work quickly for a fair price. Not the lowest, but if you don't want to worry, hire Rick.

A 4 day job turned into 4 weeks and they still weren't even close to being done. Always an excuse…read more Then they tried to charge us for things they didn't do, and times they weren't even here working, all because they tore up our water softener system and ruined every appliance in our house that uses water 4 days after starting the job. We had to pay to get things fixed or do it ourselves. Joseph saw the huge expense piling up after 4 weeks and decided he would try to extort us by sending us fraudulent billing to get more money out of us. We refused and told him not to darken our doorway again! He was rarely on the job site and had no idea what his guys were doing. If it wasn't for our cameras around the house, he might have convinced us of some pretty expensive lies. This guy has no idea what he is doing and relies on two guys (though he claims he has more working for him but even they told us it's just the two of them) who work unsupervised and he never even comes to see what they have done each day. If we saw him it was to drop off or pick up a trailer. He ALWAYS has some family issue going, or something at his house needing something, that keeps him from being around. He has no clue how to run a business. Has no ethics, and lies right to your face. We were never paid back for all the damage they did to our house through negligence, plus we paid for pavers we never had delivered. His funny math more than a few times showed he was trying to rip us off. His guys will say they will do something and no one says one word about it will cost more. They left the job and stopped showing up until we agreed to pay HIM more money we DID NOT OWE HIM when we had paid him for 75% of the job, and he wasn't even 50% done. I wouldn't trust this guy to put up a clothes line, much less anything more complex. If you're considering hiring them, I would strongly recommend against it. it's a shame I didn't see honest negative reviews from others before we hired him. Biggest regret of our lives! Now we are out even more money having to pay another company to fix this mess they made here. The pavers aren't even level! Looks like a roller coaster with all the hills and dips! Total nightmare!
