Wish I could give zero stars. I was traveling through Palm Desert, CA and stopped for groceries. I live 100 miles away. I realized when I returned home that one of my bags of groceries had not been given to me. I called the store and was transferred to the absolute rudest person I've ever spoken with. Her name was GLORIA and she identified herself as a manager. She was already aware of the issue and I asked her to put the dollar amount for the groceries I paid for and didn't receive on a gift card and mail it to me. Her response, "We're not doing that for you!! You can drive back and get the groceries or get a refund, but that's the only way you'll get your money back. I explained to her again that I lived 100 miles away and wouldn't be in the area again. Her response, SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I consider keeping my money to be fraud. Refund me now.

The mountains of boxes blocking access to chips, pretzels and popcorn choices.

This Ralphs is my go-to grocery store when I'm not shopping at Trader Joe's. They have a good variety of organic fruit, vegetable and dairy options which is important to us. They are a bit lean on female and beauty products, but give plenty of shelf space to alcohol and sports drinks/water varieties. The cashiers are for the most part friendly, but sometimes at the bare minimum. The produce section workers are always super helpful and in a great mood, so they make up for the seemingly tired cashiers. Although I don't drink coffee, it's nice to have a Starbucks here as it adds a wonderful scent to the air and makes it feel like a little village. The Friday before the Superbowl I went shopping to buy snacks for the big game and was disappointed to find boxes piled from the floor to the top shelf covering half of the shelves. There were employees standing around who could see that I was attempting to peer behind the side of the mammoth stock piles to try and find what I was looking for, but did not offer to move anything and continued to talk amongst themselves. I decided Ralphs did not deserve my business that day and left to purchase elsewhere.

Ralphs is our go to store in the desert....plenty of people everywhere ... it's the season... ..nice clean store ...well stocked.... I love the produce/floral departments.... Self checkout...nice employees... Starbucks..... big parking lot... Signup for the loyalty card... saves you a bunch.... This location does not have gas but the Washington st store does...

I really don't ever review Ralphs, I mean what kind of person are you? Superior, Food4less, Ralphs, Vons, Albertsons, Whole foods, Sprouts - get my drift? Anyways, I've always been a big fan of Ralphs. This is usually my go to when I am in the area. I had wings at another location Sun Valley, Ca and they were amazing. I thought I would give them a try, they looked so dry and I was a bit hesitant but decided to go with it. I got 6pc wings with wedges, that was the worse Idea of the day. The potatoes were undercooked, I probably should have stopped eating them but nope. Don't want it to be TMI but I was in the restroom for a good 30mins. Do yourself a favor and omit the wedges and wings

Hey all, hope you had a great Easter . I ate at the park earlier today, but I was feeling hungry again, so I went to Ralph's for dinner. Ended up with the Braised beef w/carrots and mashed potatoes. Also picked up a salad. I'll tell you, this was a pretty tasty meal and all for under 20 bucks. The braised beef was super tender, and it just melted in your mouth. I was really surprised at how good it tasted. The mashed potatoes and carrots were cooked just right. The salad, yum. Feta cheese, cucumber, olives, and bell peppers. Honestly, this was all pretty tasty, oh, and I topped it off with a slice of cheesecake. Like I mentioned, all under 20bucks. Not bad.

Of course as most places in the desert, there's also loads of parking. Another location that's part of a mini strip mall. Plenty of parking and quite maintained with the traffic. I maybe eat my words later on depending on day and time of next visit....lol... Of course at the entrance, a nice little area with all the potted plants. There was a good amount compared to the other locations I've been too. Not sure but I think all the locations get new shipments with plants quite often. The store itself is a pretty decent size and the isle is pretty wide so it makes it easier maneuvering with other shoppers and the carts. Everything that I came for were all in stocked which is great. Didn't have to ask any of the sales associates if anything was in the back. Layout is pretty much similar to all the other stores give or take its reverse when you walk in. Overall, another great location with everything is stocked. Amazing staff and friendly service.

We came in to stock up on supplies for lunch and happily found fresh produce lots of low sodium luncheon meat and snacks for the road. They were also giving out samples of pumpkin ice cream, and I'm a sucker for a pumpkin any pumpkin product. They have makes me happy. I've tried their wonderful pumpkin muffins, pumpkin cake, pumpkin donut holes, and the pumpkin ice cream was probably the best treat of all! I also wound up getting two more of the tiny trick-or-treat bags for three dollars each, which make great gift bags this time of year ! We will return time and time again to Trader Joe's for reliable, delicious fresh and innovative food !

While standing in line, I realize there's no menu on the wall like they used to be. So I walked towards the front of the line to read the menu and everybody there. I thought I was trying to cut them which almost started an argument with the other people in line. I wasn't trying to cut. I was trying to read the damn menu. This is the stupidest setup that I've ever seen for an order menu. When that person was done, I picked up the menu so I could view it closer as I do not have my singing glasses with me and the menu was tiny little print out of a regular printer. So then the next guy started freaking out like I was trying to cut in line. The people here on this valley (many foreigners) are too stupid for you to have your menus like this. You need to put them back up on the wall. Or else have several of them so that people standing in line can see what they want to order before they get up to the order window. Why would you take down your menu off the wall and replace it with a tacky piece of paper with a three dollar menu stand? I don't know it just seems like it's an awful confusing mess right now. All these people in the photo are trying to take turns looking at that menu. Everybody's cutting in front of each other to try to see it. I can't believe your employees haven't said something. You seriously need to fix this.

While there are closer stores I could shop at, I religiously travel the distance to shop at the Indio location. Great prices, clean store, AMAZING wide aisles where we could have drag races with our carts if we wanted. LOVE the deli, sushi & pizza! But...what I love THE MOST? The employees. From the Dope AF guy in the deli that knows our order, the amazing employees who always give their time to help with questions and those amazing cashiers. In today's society where we're getting more & more disconnected from one another I think the biggest thing this company & store gives is that nostalgic, hometown, community vibe and that's not an easy achievement for such a large store - but they do! This store makes grocery shopping a more enjoyable experience! Well done to everyone who works at this location & thank you for being in the Coachella Valley!

The selection of veggies and fruits is unbeatable, as well as the selection of *most* things. The prices, oh the prices, if only we can get these prices in LA. I can't recall anything being more expensive than a Ralph's, Vons or Smart & Final. The only section that could be better as far as selection is alcohol. Don't expect super high-end stuff. But it's a *decent* selection nonetheless. Service - be patient; you're saving money because they save money by not hiring as many people as they should. Also you must bag your groceries. This presents a bit of a challenge for folks like me who are disabled (I can stand but am a fall hazard). Ambiance - um it's a generic grocery store. Don't expect bachata music to dance to while you pick the spiciest peppers. 5 stars for selection and prices 3-4 stars for service (still better than your avg Ralphs!)
