We are so grateful to have this beautiful grocery store so centrally located to us with hours of availability pretty much 24 seven they have everything you can think of including a sushi bar a large variety of healthy food options and a Starbucks. This Ralph's bums me out! I'm actually not sure how it's still operating. The produce is almost always rotten, moldy, and/or covered in fruit flies. They sell other expired products like bread and yogurt too. Additionally, the employees at the self checkout are usually chatting away with each other instead of paying attention to customers who need help. This Ralphs has been consistently disappointing. I've lived in the area for about a year, and I've never been able to order anything from the fish department because it's always empty. Today was no different--there was no one at the counter, and when I asked at the cashier, I was told, "the fish department representative is on break, you have to wait." When I went back to report it, an employee named Jose treated me very rudely and told me to "dig through the trash" for my receipt. I found the receipt and have photos. The store is clean, with good selection, frequent discounts, and very conveniently located for this neighborhood. Always busy but generally no lines! People are friendly. And Starbucks! Only downsides... the deli area has gotten better, but still the folks there could smile once in a while. And the Asian section is not as complete as the Ralph's at UCLA. Just had the worst experience with Kiki, she was loud and aggressive for clearly no reason, I heard from far dealing with another customer, then had to make her way over to me at self check out, not only did she bump me out of the way but lied that her gloves wear clean shes did believe what was in bakery bag and put her dirty gloves all over the baked goods, then says if i don't like it can go to the back of the store and get news ones, which I guess she's also investigate lol i ultimately had the items removed. Her loud tone was unnecessary and aggressive. The items weren't mismarked and I was apologized to, it got to point I pulled out my camera as she was being so loud and screaming over me. If she hates her job and can't be honest and respectful of paying patrons she should leave. I am now at another Ralphs also went through self check out marked the same items correct and had absolutely no issues with verbal abuse what's mine boggling as I could hear her in a verbal altercation before she was called over to apparently provide customer service to me. Upon leaving, I saw Kiki running the carts outside, seems like it was her position to intervene and if she's in management she's clearly having a shitty day. read more

I just wanted to compliment this store because of your employees wonderful customer service. My husband and I have been coming here for years and even though we moved further from your location, we make the drive because of the friendly and helpful employees. Belinda, Bobby, and I can't remember the 2 men that I always enjoy, one is a checker up also a shift manager, and the other is a checker also and I think he came over from the Century City Ralph s a few years ago and I think I have seen him at the Jefferson location ( I hate to describe him good looking maybe a little bald, my age (40's), 5'10 ish. Those guys are both very friendly and super helpful. Also, the tall/bigger gentleman in the meat/fish department is so friendly and extremely helpful. I have asked him multiple times about how to cook certain foods and he always takes the time to answer my questions and has widened my fish cooking. I never thought I would be cooking a full Branzino until he told me how easy and tasty it is. Please please recognize these people and let them know that they were praised. I KNOW that people write more negative reviews so please acknowledge their handwork and great customer service!!! I do love everyone in the Ralph's including all the women and men bag and do one of the most thankless job of collecting all the carts even on hot days. I will also write a yelp review for how great this Ralph's is. Just a wonderful Ralph's because of the employees!!! I was falsely targeted for shoplifting at this Ralphs by a security guard. I accused him of being racist and I stand by that. His actions towards me were overzealous, dehumanizing, terrorizing and distressing. It's as if he was trying to find something to falsely accuse me of shoplifting to haul me off to jail. I just went back out to get a basket, and I told him that's what I was doing. Shoplifters don't stall outside at the basket area, they run away as soon as they leave the store. It was obvious he was just trying to make things difficult for me. Turning a homeless, white man away doesn't make you any less cruel and brainwashed. You didn't target any of the other white women in there who also brought personal carrying bags inside with them like you did me. One even had the same Trader Joe's bag I did, and I asked another one with a personal carrying bag in her basket and she told me that she wasn't targeted by you like I was. Making me whip out my receipts for MY muffins (that I didn't want to let you touch not because I had an 'attitude' but because I'm particular about whose hands touch my food) from a restaurant for you to meticulously scan before you believed me and aggressively accusing me of stealing them without evidence, was very unreasonable and irrational and revealed your bias against me. Any human being unreasonably targeted and having their time pettily wasted would naturally be frustrated and express that frustration and telling me I had an 'attitude' was very invalidating of my rightful frustration and it was racist. People who use rideshare and/or public transportation need personal carrying bags to make shopping easier for them. Stores like CVS and Target who have also targeted me in similar ways, should consider creating an area for customers to leave their bags before they shop. If you're poor and/or a Black woman, shop elsewhere. read more

I really want to love this store because the produce is fresh and they are rarely out of products. However, the isles are narrow and not connected so you have to shop in grids which is made more difficult by the huge boxes and crates blocking nearly every isle while the shelves are stocked, usually during peak shopping hours! ‍ why?? read more

This is a horible store, it is impossible to move through it. They have loaded up this place with so many displays, there are always traffic jams in the aisles, and customers getting angry. This may be the worst supermarket I have ever visited, and I've gone to plenty. The funny thing is this used to be a nice enough store. Then I guess they over-ordered and began stocking displays in the middle of aisles creating an absolute mess. Sorry to say this but Sol has made my experience at Pick-up on Fridays 5-5:30pm pretty uncomfortable. I feel sort of petty saying this, but no one else has issues handing my groceries through my driver side window...only employee, Sol. And she has a bad attitude everytime I would see her!!! I asked her why she won't just hand me the grocery bags and she has this nasty attitude and responded, "I won't do that!" Maybe she has a good reason but the others hand me my groceries and she the only one saying she won't. Instead she said she can only put them in my trunk. My dear friend Martha bought a VISA gift card for her sister at this Ralphs store. When her sister went to use the card elsewhere, it was rejected as having no funds on it. It had been been defrauded while on display at this Ralphs before Martha bought it. Martha took the card back this store to get a refund for it. She explained the situation to a woman Supervisor on duty, and requested a refund for the card. The Supervisor told Martha that there was nothing she could do at store level to help, and to call the gift card company. She then added that it was all over the news that many gift cards bought for the holidays had been defrauded before purchase. The Supervisor admonished Martha for not having watched the news, and that, if she had, she wouldn't have bought the card in the first place! She "Blamed the Victim!" At this, Martha left, astonished and deeply hurt that the person who should have helped her, shamed her instead. read more

Maria was helping someone before me but when she was done she said screw the deli area and making sandwiches and went to hide. I told the other women there how can I get a sandwich since I had already been waiting for over 15 minutes. This is for the pharmacy: efficient, friendly and fast. Truth be told, I'd rather go to a small Independent, but my insurance didn't seem to be taken by any of these folks, so I ended up at Ralphs. My husband and I have been coming to this Ralphs for 12 years and it is are go to Ralphs even if another one is closer. The store has all the things we purchase regularly and for the most part fruits and veggies are well stocked unless you go at a super busy time and then things can get low. HOWEVER, the main draw for this Ralphs above all others are the employees. Pretty much everyone who works here is super helpful and are all friendly faces. Some even know us personally like Belinda and Bobby. And the guys in the meat and Fish department (I hope his name is Gil) and Rubio are always happy to help with any questions, suggestions or just general knowledge I have about fish or cuts of meat. There is a Ralphs much closer to our place and we avoid going there as much as possible because everyone seems supper unfriendly, and there is another Ralphs that is also close but the meat/fish guy never knows anything. I have even spoken to friends about "Our Ralphs" before and they also go to the Barrington location. Even the manager who we recognize for years (I wish i remembered his name) is always soooo helpful. I never knew that I could become a "regular" at a grocery store especially at a big chain like Ralphs! Only and this has nothing to do with this Ralphs but all of them, a few years ago Kroger either stopped making or stopped shipping Kroger deluxe vanilla fudge Frozen yogurt. What happened to that stuff? And I guess more recently Ralphs has stopped carrying Graeters Chocolate chocolate chip. Can you bring that back please. I swear the Kroger brand has been gone for years but the husband still looks in the same place weekly like he is one day going to see it again. Can you end his suffering and bring it back!!! Atkins Vanilla Shake Amazon order delayed. Used the last slosh in Sunday's chicory laced coffee. Decided to bite the bullet. I would return to Ralphs, this Ralphs, the store where pre-pandemic I loved to shop in between work appointments to stock up on both non-perishable and perishable items. Bad night's sleep anticipating shopping, going back. Double masked. Wore face shield. Went early. Arrived 7:45AM. Everything looked the same, like mid-March 2020, my last shop. Kinda of an eerie flashback to when everything was the same, kinda like my wakeful dream the night prior. Found the stuff on my list minus one item, perhaps a supply chain deficit or lack of consumer demand. NOT paying over 50% inflation online for desired item. Will do without. Majority of staff masked, a good thing. Not happy to see a produce staffer unmasked. Also heard a really loud, possibly uncovered sneeze in the floral department. Just prior to 8:00AM only one human checker on duty. Opted for self-checkout. Way better than before, efficient, clear, easy to follow prompts. Out of store before I could say, "Sanitize hands. Leave this dicey parking lot safely. Take an at home rapid covid test." Will I return? Let me sleep on it. Unless reoccurring nightmares also return, I will to. Yesterday i needed to exchange a prior purchase for additional groceries so ended up in cashier Etian G.'s line - who was rude (yelling jokes to other workers) and unprofessional (never greeted me) and suspicious... hence the one star. I like Ralph's so will continue to frequent the store; however, in future I'll make sure to go to another Ralph's location or will avoid Etian G.'s line at this location... or will self-checkout or give more of my business to Trader Joe's. read more

It's the worst Ralph's in West Los Angeles! The cashier forgot to charge for a discounted roasted chicken!! And the clerk & cashier actually rushed out and practically cornered me before I was able to close my car door, They both escorted me & my puppy back into the store, with my other 2 heavy bags of groceries that I had paid for! & it was the most humiliating & disrespectful experience I've ever had!!! And I was telling them that I don't even want the chicken' it was for my puppy anyway! And that I was never going to shop there again! They should be ashamed of the bad treatment, if the cashier was doing her job right she would have charged me for it!!! It's pathetic the way they handled it!!! Shame on them!!!!!
