First time to a Ralph's. CASH ONLY! They have so many flavors to choose from!! I ordered a medium with watermelon and mango. Both very good! The mango even had pieces of fruit in it. The medium for $4.50 was plenty big! The woman that helped us gave us a little bit of vanilla for my pup which he absolutely loved! We enjoyed our ices at one of the tables they have out front.

**3.5 STARS* While i do feel it is difficult to rate an ice cream place, compared to where I typically go for ice cream, I would visit Ralph's primarily if you plan on getting solely Italian ice. When arriving (a sunny Saturday around 6:30 P.M.,) there was no line, which was great! Something that was not really incredibly off-putting to me, but worth noting, is my father and I stood there for about five minutes as they employees talked to each other before taking our order. (We knew what we wanted the whole time.) Once we were met with service, the server was friendly, but his attention was still on his colleagues and the conversation they were previously having. Ralph's is conveniently located off the highway and does have late hours, which is a plus for many! The outside is newly renovated, and there are a few tables, but not too many. There is also a convenient parking lot and a plaza next door too with other food establishments. While I have gotten both ice and ice cream here, their menu is extensive. Ralph's should be commended for their large amount of ice flavors! In addition, they offer sundaes, premade ice cream bars, and edible cookie dough based ice creams, etc.. It is important to note that their ices typically have whatever flavor they are inside of them (ex: cherry has pieces of actual cherry. I prefer this personally.) Previously I have had a hit or miss experience with the ices in terms of being freezer burnt. (I attribute that to having so many flavors.) My biggest complaint here is their sizes for their prices- specifically for ice cream and a shake. I received a medium cone, which seemed more like a small compared to other local places & my dad order a large shake, which was in a typical sized plastic cup. We both felt the portions could have been a little larger for the pricing. (No problem with the pricing, if it was a little larger.) Due to that, we would stick with ice moving forward- as I feel their ice portions in a cup were typically larger. Pro: Extensive menu of ices Cons: pricing Overall, if you're visiting Ralph's I would stick to their ices, as that seems to be their focal point!

I've never visited Ralph's before, but my family loves their iced. We finally got to make a trip to pickup some Ralph's and it was so delicious! Their malted shakes are soooo good, I'm still thinking about it days later. The flavors of ices we got tried were: lemon (so good), coconut (has coconut flakes), chocolate, mango (has fruit pieces), and sugar-free cappuccino. The cappuccino was so tasty, and I couldn't tell at all that it was a sugar free flavor. Covid notes: All customers and staff are wearing masks. They have some cute tables in the front of the shop for people to sit and enjoy their ices. Customers are respectful about social distancing in the line.

The coating on the cone was not as good as DQ and probably wouldn't order again.

We were quickly and warmly greeted by the young woman working behind the desk. She was finishing up an order and then took ours. I always stick to my tried and true favorite of Thai milk tea with boba. I would give my Thai tea a 4/5- it was tasty, but lacked a bit of the stronger/earthy flavors other Thai teas have. My husband got the pineapple tea. He forgot to request boba, so his was just the drink without the bubbles. I liked the stronger flavor of his tea more than mine. The cups were adorable, with cat shaped covers and ears popping up. If you are heading down the shore and are in the mood for a bubble tea, this is a good option. They also offer tangulu (fruit dipped in crunchy, clear sugar coating). We did not try it this time, but I will definitely be back to give it a taste. Very unique menu item that isn't found in many others places!

The only thing that really upset me, was that when I asked her to please raise the heat (it was very cold in the restaurant), she didn't. I left the waitress a $20 tip upon the insistance of my boyfriend. I was very disappointed that she didn't raise the heat. After all it was a raw, rainy day today. The kind of cold that seeps into you bones. I will go back there but will take the food home. I won't dine in until the weather gets hot.

Not only is the food awesome - I ordered a ramen, plain hot dog, and halo-halo shaved ice (addictively good) - but bonus stars to the staff who were sooo sweet! The Hawaiian style shaved ice and home-made ice cream are top notch. The ice cream is rich and delicious, with some unique flavors, and the shaved ice is very fine - fluffy and evenly slushy in texture and sweetness, unlike the inferior versions where you run into bland chips of ice. The toppings are yum too. The ramen noodles are springy, settled in a savory light broth. For a non-prestige grade ramen, I have no complaints. I also want to acknowledge the lovely hospitality. My child was in a tantrum-y mood and went to sulk by himself in a corner. Seeing the pouty little grump in a small fit, the girls at the counter coaxed him over with ice cream and stickers, which he of course eagerly accepted, pleased by the attention and confection, and was soon back to his endearing self. So I really appreciated their extra kindness! This is a fab joint for a quick-casual or just a perfect sweet treat!

I got the Thai iced tea flavor and my husband got cookies and cream. My husband thought the flavor was spot on but the consistency wasn't there for it being vegan. Unfortunately for my Thai iced tea the flavor and the consistency were off. I could see for someone who is vegan that this would hit that craving. But for someone who does eat dairy, it wasn't quite there. However, the location is convenient and you can walk the boardwalk afterwards. But it is quite pricey for two kids cups going for about $13.

One time in all the 24 years I've known him. But after that first visit, he was raving about this place like it had changed his worldview. I heard about that dragon fruit ice cream for an entire year -- how it was "creamy," "perfectly balanced," "a revelation." You'd think it cured his seasonal depression. Naturally, when we finally came back, expectations were sky-high. We grabbed a few samples and... immediate heartbreak. What we got wasn't ice cream -- it was ice with aspirations. Watery, flavorless, sad little scoops pretending to be something they're not. I've had melted popsicles with more personality. It was like the spirit of the original recipe had died and been replaced by the ghost of freezer burn. Even my chocolate-obsessed guy, who was ready to defend this place with his whole chest, just stood there, spoon in hand, looking betrayed. Maybe we caught an off day. Maybe the dragon fruit lost its magic. But right now, it's giving "fruit-flavored regret. Pass

It's located on the 1st floor of the mall, near Macy's and Rain Forest Cafe. It's a small store front. You place your order and yes, there's pictures so you kinda know what the final order may look like before you place your order. An order cost $7.99 but you do get about 8 rolls of ice cream and unlimited toppings and the portion size can be shared for two. Note: I said it can be shared but not that anyone would want to after one bite. The cool part is you get to see them make your roll and how the ice cream went from liquid form to actually frozen ice cream roll. The staff is also very nice! They ask you what toppings you'd like and yes, you can take your time to decide. They don't rush you and they don't judge you either, haha. It seems to be a very popular place. I came on a Friday evening and was the third and I thought last customer ordering on the line. I ordered and paid and before I know literally a bus stop came by. There's about 20 people making a line afterwards. The wait was a bit long because there were many orders to make. There's only two staff and one of them was ringing up orders at the cashiers. I hope they have more employees for the weekend and summertime. This place can be a really big hit for mall goers. I will definitely come back to try other flavors ice cream roll and toppings!
