Two days later he came back with the parts and told me it would probably take around 4 hours, and surprisingly he was done in three. Also, when you went to get ice thru the door we had to open & slam it to get the ice to dispense. Michael showed up as schedule and spent time diagnosing the problem. He found several possible reasons for the issues. His recommendation was to start with the most inexpensive fix first to see if that corrected the issue. So, he replaced the door switches. It worked! No more slamming the door to get ice! Just so you know the other solution was to replace the entire door which would have cost $1200. He suggestion to start with the most inexpensive solution first saved me $1000! Michael was knowledgeable about the product and potential issues and honest in his recommendations. The correct name of this business is XPRESS TECH. They use the name Radio Shack, but they are not…read morethe Radio Shack that we remember from the past. They use Square, which is a payment processor used by thousands of small businesses, to process purchases made via credit card. Square runs the credit card transaction, sends the charge to your bank, and then deposits money into the merchant's account. The merchant in this case is XPRESS TECH. If you use a credit card to make a purchase from this store, the charge will appear under the name SQ *XPRESS TECH on the list of your credit card transactions. I originally called this store thinking it was a Radio Shack like I was accustomed to from the past. I bought a Universal Power Supply on 11/24/25 over the phone with the help of Joey, who identified himself as the manager. Later that same day I decided that I no longer wanted the Universal Power Supply and I called the store back to inform Joey of my decision. Joey was fine with the refund, but told me that since the purchase was originally handled over the phone and not by swiping my credit card in person in the store, I would need to go to the store in person so that my credit card could be swiped to complete the refund. In order to cooperate with Joey's instructions, I drove to the store in Brodheadsville, PA and he processed the refund on 11/25/25 in the store. Joey then gave me a printed receipt documenting the refund. Once the refund was processed in person in the store by Joey, I continued to monitor my credit card account online to make sure that the refund was initiated. When it looked like the refund was not going to be processed, I filed a dispute with my credit card company. In the end, I got my refund but it took over two months to get it. The alarming part of it all was that at one point in the process XPRESS TECH actually tried to deny my refund with my credit card company by claiming that I did not follow their policies. Excuse me? To be clear, Joey handled the sale, return and refund processes for me. I followed every step that Joey had asked me to follow. Honestly, I am glad this ordeal is over and that I got my refund. However, based on the horrible experience that I had, I will never do business with this company again.

When I had a problem with a refrigerator years ago,, they were on it. They returned 2X until it was perfect. I referred everyone I knew to them. I recently paid over $2000 for a refrigerator that flooded my kitchen in less than 2 weeks. we had to keep a large bucket by the fridge and surround it with towels that, when saturated, were put into the bucket and washed while a new set of towels took their place. Repeated calls/messages to Kleckner were not returned. When I finally got thru to them, the responses expressed little to no concern. The manager gave me the manufacture phone number and when I expressed my panic that this water may extend past my kitchen and damage my hardwood floors? He told me that Kleckner would not be held responsibl, maybe the manufacturer would as Kleckner was no longer responsible after a successful delivery.! Thanks so much! Anyone have the number for Allentown appliance? Even Lowe's would be better!
