Most slowest longest wait for nothing. I left after waiting about 15 minutes. I was so annoyed. 4 cars sat there didn't even move.

I ordered the biggie meal which consisted of a double stack, fries, nuggets and I treated myself with the strawberry frosty. EPIC fail: I was not impressed and low key disappointed. This has to be the new adult happy meal. Food was lukewarm, and the sizing is ridiculous. Quantity is a joke. Why have a value menu if you're gonna laugh in our faces with the portions you make as a deal. Value means the amount of money that can be received for something. This value menu option is trash and a waste of monies in my opinion. I'm very disappointed in the greediness of this franchise. Unless you spend top dollar you will not receive great quality.

I was overwhelmed and paused before I answered with an attitude. Then another lady proceeded to yell through the microphone something that I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND. The static was worse due to her yelling. I told them I would come back when they calmed down. My grandson and I were excited to get the $1 Frosty. I went inside, ordered, then asked for the manager. Two women explained I didn't say what kind of cheeseburger. They repeatedly told me without telling them what kind, they couldn't fill my order. 1. Cheeseburger does NOT sound like Baconator (so why did she suggest that? And, 2. There is a cheeseburger on the kid's menu. I don't understand why they were so confused and rude. She could've asked me if I wanted a cheeseburger from the kid's menu because that's what I wanted. I don't work there and rarely eat Wendy's. She was more familiar with the menu than I was.

On my home (10PM), I decided that I wanted some comfort food instead of the food I prepared to eat. For me, it would have been a treat for this kinda day. The Good: Order taker was great with suggestions. Greeted and thanked me. The Runner: Caucasian, heavier set lady. Not sure if she is new, but this this is my first time seeing her there( I guess I'm somewhat a regular now) lol. That's bad...but anyways, I digressed. She was not pleasantly looking. Could be she's tired or hurting or don't wanna be there. She asked me "what's the number" (The cashier had already placed it on the rear view mirror where they always do. She took the number off and placed it on the outer portion of the mirror with an attitude stated, "I can't see." She then continue to walk to the other car infront repositioning their number to a different spot. (I get it that you probably can't see, but don't allow the customer to feel as though they are at fault. We cannot control your vision nor the lighting of the surroundings. Returning of my food: I stated the number for her to be of help. As she proceeded to hand me the bag, I asked her if there was a staw inside. She didn't even take the chance to look herself but rather stated, "I dont know you can check." Anyhow, I thank her. I didn't get the usual, "my pleasure," that I'm accustomed to, however, she did stated "you are welcome while walking away with her backed turned. Food taste & temp- One of the worst burger I've ever had. Honestly it was disgusting. I am very disappointed that I paid almost $12 dollars for a stale burger & a shake. It was not "made fresh" per there trademark. Wished I didn't stopped this time. It's usually scorching hot where you have to wait to bite into it. Shake: First time ordering a shake. I got the strawberry. It was rich and contained real strawberries chunks? (I think). I finished it on the ride. Hopefully this was an off night for them given the time and it wasn't as many team members working as per usual. Sorry Culvers that I had to post this, put I provide honest reviews based upon experiences.

Abelardo's Mexican Fresh - Pollo Asada Burrito. It's big and amazing!

Sometimes I find myself in need of a burrito the way that a person with a crippling drug addiction…read moreneeds a fix, but I'd rather not go to some fancy sit-down restaurant where I feel obligated to leave a tip and I'm not provided with as much complimentary chips and salsa as I require. Certainly, I'd rather not go to a Chipotle, where you risk gastrointestinal distress in exchange for less food than they used to give you, for even more money; or Taco Bell, which actually costs more than Chipotle now, despite still being Taco Bell. Enter Abelardo's Mexican Fresh, which somehow (ostensibly) combines the quality of a fancy sit-down restaurant with the convenience of a fast-food restaurant. Not only do you not have to go inside to get your food, you couldn't go inside if you wanted to. There's probably an alarm that would trigger if you tried. There's all kinds of signs and stickers on the building's exterior warning of alarm systems and the restaurant's right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, Title IX notwithstanding. There's a little window where you can get out of your car and order, if you just have to. You don't have to worry, if you're wearing pajamas. It's not the kind of neighborhood where you're going to be judged for that sort of thing. The menu is entirely too extensive. But you get the sense that, as is the case with the aforementioned Taco Bell, it's all 1001 different combinations of the same few ingredients. You probably couldn't go wrong with just throwing a dart at the thing and seeing where it lands, unless you're Stevie Wonder, in which case you might put someone's eye out. I wanted to get a combination that had both a taco and a burrito, so I could try both items, but the only one I saw had ground beef in both. So I went with one that came with two carne asada burritos, refried beans and rice. I suppose I could have just ordered à la carte, but I wasn't feeling up to it emotionally. I noticed the bag, when they handed it to me, was surprisingly heavy, like they accidentally gave me someone else's order. I wasn't about to complain. This is a proper Mexican establishment, so there was no risk of there being anything gluten free or otherwise inappropriate for an adult male. But no, this was my order. It's just a lot of food. The two-burrito combination plate seems like it would be two small burritos instead of one large burrito (which seems stupid), but it's really two fairly large burritos. At $15 and some change, it might be the single most expensive thing on the menu, but it's not expensive in an absolute sense, by 2025 standards. This place packs great value. The carne asada wasn't the most high quality beef in the world, and it's a little bit dry, which I attribute both to how thoroughly it's cooked and how it's served. There's nothing in the burrito but meat, a few peppers and maybe a little pico. Presumably, this is a more authentic version of the dish, like a chili with no beans in it. It benefits from the hot sauce they give you with it, which is legitimately hot and redolent of actual peppers. The tortillas were similarly high quality and, if taste is any indication, not good for you. The refried beans were lacking in salt compared to the kind that come in a can, which are amongst my favorite things in the world, but that's probably more a testament to the utter savagery in which I was raised than anything else. Sitting in the drive thru, I was reminded of the Oreo cookie shakes I would get from the Jack in the Box that used to be here. If they could somehow put that on the menu, this would be the GOAT restaurant. As it is, it's not half bad.

Extremely Disappointing Food Safety and Hygiene Practices…read more I visited Freddy's intending to purchase a burger, but what I observed in the kitchen immediately raised serious concerns about the restaurant's food safety and sanitation practices. Not a single employee I observed working in the kitchen was wearing a hairnet or any visible form of hair restraint. Several employees had long, loose hair, braids, dreadlocks, mustaches, and beards, yet I did not see anyone wearing appropriate hair or beard coverings. This is completely unacceptable in an establishment where employees are preparing and handling food for the public. Hair restraints are not simply about appearance or professionalism. They are an important part of maintaining sanitary food preparation conditions and reducing the risk of hair and other contaminants coming into contact with customers' meals. What concerns me most is that this was not an isolated employee. It appeared to be a widespread issue among the kitchen staff. That raises an even bigger question about management, employee training, and whether proper food safety procedures are being consistently enforced. As a paying customer, I should not have to question the cleanliness of the kitchen before ordering a basic hamburger. Customers are trusting this establishment to prepare their food in a clean, sanitary, and professionally managed environment. That trust comes with a responsibility to follow basic food handling standards. If something as visible and easily corrected as proper hair restraints is being overlooked, it makes me question what other sanitation practices might not be receiving the attention they deserve. I am not claiming that the food was contaminated. However, the lack of visible hair restraints among the employees I observed was concerning enough to make me question whether I wanted to purchase food from this location. I strongly encourage the restaurant's management and corporate leadership to review the kitchen's food handling practices, reinforce employee hygiene requirements, and ensure that appropriate hair and beard restraints are being used. Food safety should never be optional, and customers should not have to point out basic sanitation concerns. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I hope management takes it seriously rather than dismissing it as a minor issue.
