I witnessed deeply disturbing behavior at this store that I cannot stay silent about. A customer -- a Veteran -- came in to sell a large collection. The owner's son referred to him using a racial slur and called him "boy." When the customer's mother stepped in to ask reasonable questions about the lowball offer they were given, the owner's son repeatedly belittled and yelled at her. It escalated further when the owner's son made a threatening gesture -- grabbing himself and stepping toward the back door in an aggressive manner, as if looking for a physical confrontation. He also told the customer, "You want my money," in a demeaning way. This entire scene played out in front of a store full of people. Several bystanders, including myself, stepped in to help the man with his collection, and we all left together. This business should not be trusted. I've also personally witnessed them quote one price and then lowball with another. The behavior was racist, threatening, and completely unprofessional. I would give zero stars if I could. Fabulous Pokemon cards and wonderful service! We had a great time buying cards and Paul was very helpful. He was so kind to me and my family. They have previously owned cards for purchase in the cases or new boxes depending on availability. They have game nights also but check their website for the schedule. read more

Love their store Genuinely one of the best card stores in Charlotte. They give good deals, good advice, and relatively fair with their own pricing. They consistently look out for their community examples, they host trade night for free (where most conventions is a 50 dollar minimum to get in). They host TCG competitions (I don't play tcg I kust collect cards but the atmosphere is great) and as well recently added a booth of Japanese /other languages to appeal to all their audiences. Leaving a bad review over one day, and as well restricting kids of GAME hobby is ridiculous. As adults we all played/watched pokemon as young as 4 year old. But now your getting mad at a kid who was in your shoes at the exact same age, and not even thankful that a store GIVES that opportunity to children to be involved in the community (like their TCG nights they do kid competitions). No reason to be mad now that we have "adult money" we can't support the next generation of pokemon trainers. 10/10 would come to rally everytime read more

Disappointing Experience at Rally Squirrel in Mint Hill I have been a regular customer at Rally Squirrel in Mint Hill for approximately a year and, until today, had always had positive experiences. Recently, I brought in my Pokémon card collection to sell as discussed a week prior, something that had already been talked about during a prior visit. Unfortunately, the interaction quickly became unprofessional after the offer presented was significantly lower than expected. The owner's son, who was operating the store at the time, became increasingly hostile and began raising his voice at my mother. When I attempted to step in and address the situation calmly, he responded by calling me names, repeatedly stating that I was broke, saying I'm here for his money and dismissively saying he did not care that I am a veteran when I stated that "I didn't serve this country to be talked down to by You".. What made the situation even more upsetting was that multiple customers witnessed the entire exchange. Several appeared uncomfortable and even attempted to calm the situation down. Despite this, he became so agitated that he stormed out through the back door while continuing to yell insults as he grabbed his genitals in front of both customers and employees as he walked out the back door calling me a boy. As someone who has supported this business regularly and spent thousands here. I found the behavior extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Because of this experience, I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend that anyone sell their collection there. read more

I walked in the store was greeted kinda lazy and when I asked if I could sell some Pokemon cards I got attitude by the skinny short guy and they said well get to you when we can in an rude way. I understand if there having a bad day but it's not good business. I will not be coming back just because I do not want to have the same experience. Honestly not a great experience, was told by their Instagram they would open and start selling at 11am. Got here at 10:25 to join the line and was told by 10:45 they sold out. They also give out tickets for a place in line which also wasn't specifically mentioned in their Instagram. If I would have known they would give out tickets early I would have shown up at 8am if this is the case. All I'm asking for is clear instructions if your gunna post door opens at 11. Not knowing people have tickets etc. read more

I come here often, frequently buying packs and single cards alike, and most of the people here are very nice, and helpful. I enjoy the selection brought here, my only real complaint is there is a skinny gentleman with an attitude problem behind the counter. I do love rally squirrel, and the folks involved. I just wish the one gentleman would loosen his pants a bit. For example, we were standing by the counter, waiting for him to finish a conversation which he was having, when he turned around to look at us (5 minutes after we waited for him to talk) and he said "you should've said something! we won't know you're there if you don't say something" and I'm not sure if this is basic customer service but to me, it is basic to know that you should always have awareness of your register, not carrying on side conversations, and giving your guests attitude when they are going to check out. I'll be back in the future, and hopefully his attitude will be checked by that time. read more

I am not an avid collector however, I do have a substantial card collection from my childhood and still like to reminisce and visit card shops such as Rally Squirrel Cards. The shop is small and the owner was very nice and welcoming. The store has a row of glass cases with more valuable cards displaced and then several selves along the wall with some box sets. There is a variety of card types (baseball, soccer, D&D, etc.) and a variety of price points. One thing they have that I absolutely love about card shops are the "grab bags". I don't know of anyone that has really "hit a grand slam" with these bags but the mystery of what could be and at a great price point. read more

I'm new to the tcg community, so I'm still learning a lot. I went in and tried asking questions to learn more, but the 2 owners kept cutting me off to have their own conversation. I can understand that they're tired of scalpers coming in, but it's frustrating as a customer to be mistaken as a scalper when you're just new to the scene. Now the pros, they had good prices, and I appreciate how active they are on instagram, their trade nights seem fun and engaging for the community. Overall good place, would recommend but they need to work on their customer service. read more

I go here to buy some baseball and football cards and I get there after a 45 minute drive on there page they got baseball cards when I get there nope we don't buy or sell sports cards like wtf. if you don't sell sports cards take the pictures down if you give them Pokémon cards i sold them a 25$ card and they gave me 8$ they are so picky. don't recommend read more

Picked up some Pokémon cards there a few sealed packs and a sealed carton only because the carton had evolving skies in it. Well all the packs were fine except the evolving skies. Pack had been ripped in the top corner on the back. Opened it up there was 14 cards total and 2 skies QR code cards. So clearly someone opened that pack to see if the QR code was a hit pack or not. outstanding selection of sealed pokemon collection boxes, tins, blister packs, etc., as well as baseball cards. they also have an assortment of toploaders, boxes, and sleeves. had a promo card come damaged in a tin and they replaced it with no problems at all. great guys and strongly suggest shopping with them as they have stock unmatched by any other game store that i've been to in multiple states. read more
