Many owners here are very friendly and kind, small and big dogs combined. It is usually clean but a downside is no shade. Too hot in summer for the dogs. Beware of the girl that lives across the street with a dark German shepherd. Her dog is aggressive and when she uses the park she blocks the door so that nobody can get in and use it. I walked around the park and when I came back with my dog she refused to leave. Apparently when she is in there, it is not a public dog park for anyone to use. If you say you are coming in she will tell you her dog will bite yours. I'm all fine with aggressive dogs using the dog park but when someone else comes to use it, it is the owners responsibility to leave so that others can use it. This is a small dog park for residents who live in the neighborhood. Big/small dogs in one area. No shade. Fake grass and dirt. It's great if you live near by, but not worth a drive if you don't. Hope this helps. (: read more

Raleigh Linear Dog Enclosure. If you put your kids in here I bet it can pass calling it a daycare too. 2 benches, a table but no sun protection. It's mostly astroturf with a couple of left-behind tennis balls lying around and a water fountain by the gate entrance. I outlasted a Pit and his owner and another after had two different-colored Collies come visit. Emi likes to greet and let alone so when she was done sniffing around she chilled next to me by one of their sorry excuses for tree shade. This dog park is basic at best, but nice. I do appreciate having this park close by, but it certainly would NOT be a destination unless you were living close by or visiting someone who lives nearby. Nice solid fencing, secure double gates, a few benches, one picnic table and trash cans. Small to medium size, but enough room to run. There is only one play area, meaning no separate small / big dog areas. TIP; It is super hot midday in warm months as there is NO shade to speak of. The trees are super young. Also, there is NO poop bag dispenser, the parks division took it down so, please, bring bags and if you are feeling generous tie an extra bag or two to the fence for others who might be expecting a bag dispenser. read more

This dog park is always empty, but it won't be for long. They're building apartments across the street. The park will soon be filled dog lovers. In a few months, this park will be crowded! This is one of the cleanest dog parks I've been to. Not a single piece of dog poop anywhere. Strangely though, the park usually runs out of doggy bags so it's best to bring your own. It's a little hard to find a seat in the shade if you go in the afternoon, but there is plenty of seating. There are a few public toys (balls, ropes, chew toys) laying around too. It's not hard to find. You pass a "human" park, basketball court, and a few large grassy fields with closed sewage. These large grassy fields are great space for your pup to run around but be careful of the sewage/drains. It's really icky and my sweetie loves to get wet. read more

Don't come here, it's not worth the drive. It's extremely small and dirty. There's also no parking usually.

Update: they replaced the trees! I'm glad to see that the city fixed this park, and removed the trees with poisonous seeds. The new, small trees aren't big enough to provide shade yet, but at least they won't make any dogs sick. Looking forward to trying this place again in the near future. read more

This dog park was pretty clean, and no odor from the Astro turf. This park has one picnic table and two benches to sit at. The water fountain I was disappointed for it needs to be repaired the water just streams out to the side and not into the basin. I would rather see a two water taps like one to drink from and one as a spicket to pour water into, let's say a bucket. read more

Love this little dog park we visit two time a day. Have great people with some good dogs. The place is keep clean. If you like good play times for your dog 7 am , 630 - 8 pm good play times. If you like one on one time 6 am and 5pm -6 pm are good times hope that helps read more

This dog park is only a short drive away from our home, so we take our dog here often. It's relatively new and well maintained. There are several regulars that come here, of which, most are good people and responsible dog owners. Unfortunately though, there will always be a few bad apples no matter which park you go to....So you just have to be careful when you take your furbabies out. Big dogs and small dogs play together. Some owners bring poorly socialized dogs. Some owners just park their ass on the bench and talk on the phone the whole time. There are also a couple male dogs that are not neutered. I have to agree with Amy Z's review that some people doesn't notice there is a DOUBLE gate, this was added later per park-goer's request, and it is there for a reason. The right thing to do is to help the person realize that it's better to let your dog in through the double gate so he/she have more time to greet/be greeted behind the protection of the second gate. Also if aggression is detected you can correct it early, before a full blown confrontation. Some people won't listen though... it's their loss if they want to go through life like that. When encountered with people like that I'd just leave... and take our dog to the Petco around the corner for some treats and a small toy or two. For reference we frequent Watson, Reed Street, Saratoga Creek and LG Greek Park. Out of which this one seem to have the most 'incidents' where dogs not getting along, ignorant/rude owners, and doggies being humped... Part of this may be due to the small size of this park... there is nowhere for dogs to run around and disperse. It's a pity since this park is so close to us. read more

This park is clean and well kept, but it's a far drive for us so we won't make it here often. We had a great time, but there is no water fountain within the dog park and limited shade so our stay was short. We came for a frenchie meetup -- there were a few, but not as many as we usually see at Roy Butcher Park. read more

Since it's fake grass of course it stinks, seems like no one does maintenance here found cigarette buds and dog poo all over. this is not a dog park just a dirty gated piece of poo Also, no sections for big dogs or small dogs. Definitely one of the cleanest dog parks I've ever been to! And usually the people that come here will make an effort to pick up all the poop! They recently installed a double door (which is very convenient) and made the water fountain inside, another plus! The only thing I would improve is making the dog park a bit bigger and separating small dogs from big dogs. read more

Well, it's really nice park - clean, gated, etc. However, there are are too many BIG dogs with owners who just want to read their book in the sunshine, and seem to hog the place with their non-socialized dogs. There is no separate place for little dogs (20lbs or less) to play freely without getting harassed. Very sad. read more

Regular small dog park, with normal wear and tear. It's very small because it was meant to be a neighborhood dog park for the apartment complex. REGULAR DOG PARK! Thats it! Nothing fancy, nothing interesting. I take off 1 start for the genius dog park designer who installed a Human water fountain in a dog park... I am dead serious. So just take a water bottle for urself. Someone even told me their puppy got sick / girardia (now take it with a grain of salt). Another star off because this lady had to take her dog to surgery because of vicious pitbulls. I have a german shepherd so I always keep an eye on my dog, wether she gets attacked or mine gets offensive with another dog. I've seen owners sit, chit chat and they' don't even realize the dogs pooped. read more

This place is relatively unknown and hard to find, but it's really well taken care of. There's a water fountain and dog bowl, picnic benches, artificial turf and a few trees. There are rarely dogs there and it's small. But there is enough space for my big dog (100 lbs) to stretch his legs playing fetch. Plenty of free parking. It's only about a mile from Miyuki, which is awful - so opt for Raleigh. read more

This place isn't what it used to be when it first became available. Haven't been here in a while, but am disgusted by its current state. Dog feces EVERYWHERE! Looks like there must have been a dog with very loose bowels. I can understand the difficulty in cleaning that, but there are others in the middle of the grassy area that could have easily been picked up. Just because there aren't any public use baggies available doesn't mean you can't use the shovel to move it to the dirt out of the way. Lazy people. read more

We go to this park twice a month for our dogs meet ups the park does not have a section for big dogs and small . Some people take thier dogs to the park knowing that they are not social or friendly and sometimes it causes other dogs to get out of hand. If your dog is not friendly dont bring them to the park. Some owners are so annoying that they need to hold thier dogs so they dont get aggressive with other dogs what does that tell you that your dog is not social its so annyoing. Also lately there has been a lady that has about 15 dogs and they are not friendly and out of control i have witnessed her and so have other people hit some of her dogs with a stick and yell at them she says shes a breeder i dont think she is because she has all different types of dogs .she is really rude and thinks she is owner of the park... overall its a good dog park .but some owners need to make sure that thier dogs are friendly before you bring your dogs around other dogs. Sometimes there is one or 2 idiots that open the big gate but we make sure to tell them not to open the gate! read more
