My wife Kathy had suffered severely with pain in her right groin area for well over a year. The pain was so bad she could not sleep in our bed and had to sleep in a lift chair. It was believed that scar tissue from a prior vascular surgery was pressing against a nerve causing the sever pain. When an MRI was taken it revealed the need for a total hip replacement.
She was referred to Dr. Sinha for a total hip replacement. We accepted the referral and it was the best decision we could have made. Prior to the surgery date his office staff made sure everything went smoothly. His surgical coordinator insured that all required paperwork, tests and approvals were completed. All post-op medical supplies (walker, toilet assist seat, leg compression cuffs, leg and mussel stimulator) were ordered and delivered. Prescriptions were filled and ready at home prior to the surgery date.
The day we met with Dr. Sinha he explained what the MRI revealed and felt confident that a total right hip replacement would alleviate the pain in her groin and right side area. He took his time to answer all of our questions. He was professional, confident, and friendly.
The surgery went very well and she was walking that same day. The next day she walked out in the hall to the nurse's station. On the third day she walked all the way around the nurse'e station, about 200 ft. That was the day she came home. While at the hospital and while recuperating at home several nurses, therapists and care givers commented on Dr. Sinha's thoroughness and attention to detail.
She is pain free, except for her other hip, which she plans to have replaced after the Holidays. Of course, it will be Dr. Sinha preforming the surgery. We would highly recommend Dr. Sinha to anyone based on our personal experience. read more
