He was almost 10 lbs and should be 5lbs max. 5lb over for him is like 500lbs for us. They sent him to Dr. Jiao and he told my parents that the dog is not overweight but has bad joints and arthritis and will never walk again, and he put my poor dog on medication for the rest of his life. After hearing this from my parents and arguing with them to try and convince them that Dr Jiao is a typical money hungry lying sneaky pig who knows more than well my dog is overweight, I put my foot down and began to feed the dog myself. I put him on a strict lean meat diet one meal a day and cut all the medication and within 3 weeks my dog is running around full of life happy as can be. Send your pets to this clown at you own risk.

Dr. Jiao made sure Lucky was comfortable on the last night of his life, and his vet techs looked after Lucky all night, until we got to see him the next morning. Lucky had been sick for a while, but our last vet was unable to diagnose Lucky's illness, which we found out from Dr. Jiao was likely cancer. Dr. Jiao went into detail on how/why Lucky's last vet may have missed the cancer, even though it was obvious that he was suffering from something, and Dr. Jiao let us know that there wasn't much we could've done to prevent this. Thanks for explaining everything and taking good care of Lucky.

Instead of referring to a specialist. If you didn't think you were able to correct the problem you should have referred us right away and not wait 3 appointments to do so. After the 3rd appointment you decided that you couldn't handle if and basically kicked us out but we had to pay for that appointment as well. You guys have social media accounts showing you with dogs / cats are they yours ? And would you allow them to be brushed off by a so called care giver / doctor. Maybe your doctors are too young and need better training and people skills. I've been there 4-5 times and yet to see an adult. If anyone can refer me to a good veterinarian that has compassion please let me know.

Also what a B S from this place not letting the owner in with the dog. Covid it's over!!! Why can I go in with my dog when she is being treated? Dr Howel was the best and I am sorry he's not there anymore. From 1 to 10 I'm giving this place a ZERO

So in addition to $1600 bill to receive 3 thyroid disorders as diagnoses , not anatomical! Now we have surgery with a new vet. To hopefully let him eat and breathe without struggling Be careful, these are pets that we love. I wouldn't utilize this Veternarian. Dr. also has an ego Complex and forgot it's not about her or me, the dog is what matters. Run Just a paying customer!

Although I am a physician I am not familiar with this procedure in canines, but apparently open incisions are used to cut into the bladder for stone removal. My. Baby girl was discharged in howling pain, which was traumatic for my sister who had retrieved her. She had to return her to demand appropriate pain management for the dog as she was only given gabapentin and Rimadyl (doggie Advil). Even women who have cesarean sections are given strong analgesia for at least 3 days postoperatively. My baby suffered for days. I called the office the following day to get information regarding her diet going forward, as bladder stones can definitely recur. Not only was I not given any information, but I was merely switched to another person who just asked for my financials to make payment for the "extra (much needed) meds." I was given a generic receipt, so my insurance denied the payment, and I was NEVER given the invoice for the surgery, which was almost 3k and paid in full up front. I sent an email requesting the invoice, and to date they refused to respond, so I will not be able to submit for the reimbursement. When my son called the office he was told that they "didn't know" about the insurance- even though it is on file. Although they claim they will submit, I don't have much faith that they will. Further, why was this not handled from the beginning before they tortured my baby? If a human patient is treated this way there are patient advocates & lawyers promptly involved. I guess things are different in Veterinary Medicine.... But animals deserve compassionate care, too. Some people love their pets more than their spouses. In addition, pet parents should be counseled regarding the operative course, what to expect, and how to manage their pets post-operatively at home. My family, and especially my dog, were traumatized by this experience. This vet got good reviews on Yelp for some reason; maybe they are acceptable for routine well care visits and minor illnesses. But if you have a pet with serious illness or require invasive or surgical intervention I encourage you to seek another Veterinary practice.
