It's staffed and clean and generally fairly decent play. Courts are divided from beginner to advanced play, and some courts will be made men-only due to the highest level of play. However, I've noticed that there is a unfortunate number of UT students who show up with their friends and monopolize the courts. The Premier staff don't do anything about this, which results in other paying guests having to sit out for long periods of time or simply be excluded if they didn't come with a full team of their own. I have left halfway through the evening on multiple occasions because I will get dropped from a 4-man team by 3 other kids who are saving a place for a friend, or who are absolutely unwilling to compromise and play 6v6 or anything else besides 4s. And of course, while the club does nothing to prevent this, they also refuse to give you a refund despite your wasted evening. I expect to return since this is the only club in the area that hosts open gym, but I will most definitely be warning others to play at their own risk.

The have long full length bleachers on the ends of court 1 and court 5 and smaller sized bleachers on the ends if the other courts. I was there this weekend to work a basketball tournament. The staff is always friendly, accommodating and great to work with. This is our 8th year hosting the tournament here. They have a huge parking lot with lots of spaces. It is also conveniently located just of the highway closely located to many hotel chains for those traveling from long distances.

The park is a skinny little strip of trees and shade that runs east to west through downtown Saline, between the S. Ann Arbor St. / Pleasant Ridge Dr. intersection and Monroe Street opposite the Oakwood Cemetery. You can park on Pleasant Ridge and cross the street on foot, or you can go over to Monroe Street and park in the lot behind Annie's Children's Center. The baseball diamond, basketball court and tennis courts are behind Annie's off Monroe. The rest of the park consists of the shady trails that run mainly east to west through the trees, though there is an open area that might or might not be mowed. Perfect for flying a kite or RC plane. Sometimes the mosquitoes are pretty bad in the shade. You might want bug repellent. Also, be careful of the poison ivy, but the trails are wide and you won't have much danger of stepping in the P.I. if you stay on the trails.

We grabbed some carry out from Trizest and picked this park since it's close by and there are several picnic tables, even a sheltered area and a nice walking path up and around the hill. The top of the hill is a great spot to sit and watch the sunset. The walking path around the park is pretty decent as far as length goes. There's also a little playground for kids, a baseball diamond and other recreational areas of the park. There are several different areas to park as well. During the pandemic it's a great spot to get some carry out and have an ad hoc picnic with your family and friends. There's some volleyball games going on tonight as well. It's great to have a little picnic at one of the tables and then go for a walk after dinner. We then stick around to watch the sunset up on the hill.

There's basketball courts, soccer fields, swings and playground, and shelters, all central to the…read moreneighborhood, one block from Depot Town, and across from Adams Elementary School. And inexplicably, there's also an old cannon. But what really matters is the DIY skatepark, built in an unused tennis court Burnside-style, asking forgiveness vs. permission (does any tennis court ever actually get used anyway?). It's a mix of rough concrete over cinder block and wood forms, interspersed with a bunch of other wooden boxes, benches, bars, banked walls, etc. It's got a giant crack running through the middle of the flatground, and the metal edging that serves as coping on all the boxes and paved ramps/quarter pipes is sharp and sticky. There's a crazy pink pump bump that barely meets the ground. Extra plywood and cinder blocks strewn by the edges. Parking blocks set atop an irregular spine, and an almost-smooth bank/quarter (a lot of the transitions here are to be found nowhere else). It's punk as fuck, and totally gnarly. The park might be free, but the price of admission is blood. Be prepared for a burly street session, trying not to constantly eat shit. I love our smooth-as-butter skatepark in Ann Arbor, but I also love this brutally-hardcore Ypsi setup. Hurts so good!
