The team got the upper radiator hose and the antifreeze-coolant replaced while I waited. I really appreciated them immediately helping us out even though they were clearly busy with other vehicles and it was right at the start of their lunch break! That, and the price was incredible, too.

It is absolutely the best shop to go to in Portland. I took my Subaru there with a problem with the cam sensor. They got it all figured out the place I took it to in Portland, which will rename nameless insisted that it was a $3000 job and what I was asking to do was just remap the ECM at the dealer near Burnside I'll say told me that that was impossible that my ECM had the burned in memory that could not be erased from the trouble light being on. I insisted to do what Gary's automotive Portland auto clinic had told me to have done instead of the $3000 work that that dealer told me that I was gonna have to pay but thanks to Portland auto clinic otherwise known as Gary's automotive they saved me $3000 actually they saved me $2803 cause I had to pay their $200 for the ECM remap I'm gonna take my Subaru there for the rest of its life savings of $2803 is just enough to never go anywhere else. Can you believe that they saved me? They were honest they were quick with the return, they were very knowledgeable more knowledgeable than the dealership of Subaru. I would've been ripped off if I hadn't of gone to Gary's automotive otherwise known as Portland auto clinic before I took it to the dealership. The only reason I had to take it to the dealership to have it flashed is because only dealership dealerships have the tool. It's amazing. What a little bit of time and investment into a great honest shop will save you. please visit Portland auto clinic otherwise known as Gary's automotive before you go anywhere else trust them I did and I saved $2803.00 you can too. Have a good day thank you guys. I'll have pizza soon.

I finally found a shop that actually fixes the problem! Konkin was great to me and Ford F-150, and…read moreI couldn't be happier with the experience. They were upfront and honest about what needed to be done, and I never felt like they were trying to upsell me on anything unnecessary. Which is really tough to find in Portland nowadays. Will definitely be bringing my truck back here whenever it needs work. Highly recommend them this shop!

DO NOT trust nor do business with this company. I knew I was buying a salvage vehicle and…read moreunderstood the inherent risks that go with buying one. But, I had an independent mechanic conduct a pre-purchase inspection and also purchased a five year extended warranty. The mechanic found no major issues, so I felt comfortable buying it. I made the trip from Chico California to Portland by Amtrak (14 plus hours) so that I could see and drive it for myself. Unfortunately, in the 20-25 minutes it took the Uber driver to go from Amtrak to their office, upon walking into the lot saw a major dent on the driver side door. The salesperson stayed a parking lot attendant had hit the vehicle causing significant damage to the door and panel to the right of the door. I would have had a body shop give an estimate but it was after 5 pm on a Friday (March 24, 2023) by the time I got to the dealership and the salesperson assured me there was no structural damage. There was no reasonable way to stay Friday, Sat and Sunday to get a quote(s) from at least one or two body shops that Monday. The owner indicated it would only cost them $1000 to fix it and they'd ship it to me. Not wanting to trust their work I requested they agree to pay the cost based on at least three quotes in Chico. They said no and settled on only covering me for $2500. I should've known better but was exhausted and didn't want to take a train back. It was exceedingly bad decision to acquiesce and am now stuck with this problem. I got completely ripped off because the damage to the vehicle that they did, supposedly in the 20 minute ride from Amtrak. For all I know is the damage happened days before I left Chico and they knew if I got there after traveling such a long distance I'd be less likely to walk away. Now I'm looking at least spending another $6000 to repair the damage because of structural damage to the driver side door post, having to replace the driver side door with a new down, and damage further down. I would never recommend this company as they clearly knew this vehicle had more substantial damage than what they indicated. Making it more skeevy was the salesperson telling me they would be fixing it in house & would only cost the owner $1000 to make the repairs. In retrospect, it tells me they're either ignorant, incompetent or outright deceptive. Let my crappy decision serve as a warning that you will likely get ripped off. Do not use this company because the salespeople and owner are unscrupulous. If I could give less than a one star I would.
