I went in the Carbon Valley Urgent Care tonight (Nov 12th 2024) at around 5pm, with flu/sinus…read moreinfection symptoms. I felt awful. The staff were unbelievably kind and helpful from the check in staff, to the nurse (Erika?), who took vitals, tests and a breathing treatment, and the wonderful, kind doctor who diagnosed me quickly, did the needed tests and called in the antibiotics so quickly that even though it was evening , I was able to get started on them tonight. I appreciate this facility's staff so much and just wanted to give them a shout out for going above and beyond and being so outstanding.

I said sure, I'll take it. Well, the splint company sent me a bill for $250.00. When I called UC Health billing they told me that was not their problem, the splint company said it wasn't their problem as the nurse had told me an untrue amount (according to them). I spent months calling the UC Health Urgent Care, the splint company and UC billing. Nothing could be done so I had to pay the 250.00. That is just wrong! I did my due diligence and asked for a price up front. I will not recommend any UC Health facility because of this. No wonder insurance is so high! People are getting duped!
