He really cares about your health as a patient, above his own income stream. His goal is to get you healthy, not to establish regular chiropractic visits. One thing I like about Dr. Hall is that he makes a point of getting to know you as a person, not just a patient. He always asks about family members or events that are going on in your life. You really feel like a friend, not just a patient. Obviously the most important chiropractic skill is the adjustment itself. I have always received excellent adjustments from Dr. Hall. He's not limited to just the spine either. He always works on the feet and hips as well. To my surprise, he once adjusted my knee, and by simply popping it back into place, resolved an issue I had been dealing with for over a month. Dr. Hall can provide expert advise to athletes, too. He has helped me with proper shoe selection for long distance running and helped my son with his track performance. He always has helpful information to share on nutrition and exercise. I've added his daily core strength routine to my regular exercise program and it has helped my overall fitness level and helped me avoid more chiropractic visits. It's no problem to get an appointment. I've had a few "chiropractic emergencies" and they were always willing to fit me in. The office staff does a great job dealing with insurance companies, as well, although I've found it's better to just pay cash, because you have a reduced rate that way. For me, it's lower than my copay.

I didn't mean that as a brag, but to emphasize my belief that Dr. Gatteau is one of the most positive influences on my running career. His adjustments were huge for a temporary issue, but he helped me develop a process to approaching my sport from a recovery & wellness perspective that actually helped all areas of my life. I came in the summer of 2013 before my senior year of High school with issues with pretty substantial pain, inflammation, and tightness. He made some pretty important adjustments for the time. But he also taught me how to stretch properly, and to relax and naturally drop into a stretch. Using your parasympathetic nervous system vs. forcing into a stretch (sympathetic). This was all in 3 appointments, in one week when I was on vacation, with a huge impact on my career. Before meeting him, I was "injury prone", and at the time I was stressed, and worrying if I'd be able to complete my last Cross Country season in one piece. Instead I was All-State in Illinois Cross Country, ran a 4:15 mile in Track, and got a Division I scholarship. As I reflect on some of my happiest experiences as an athlete, I'm thankful that Dr. Gatteau helped me develop the relaxation process that allowed me to perform at peak levels.
