My husband and I barely go anywhere overnight together because we are so concerned about leaving our semi-hgh maintenance large older dogs. One is on meds every 12 hours of every day for seizures, and the other is 14, and would have bad anxiety at a Kennel. Most kennels are not staffed 24 hours, and someone has to spend the night because the seizures occur during the night. After interviewing Kate and Kent over the phone, I thought it sounded too good to be true but it wasn't!! Kate even gave me some tips on what might help my Buck during a seizure. I could tell that Kent and Kate are true "dog people", and those of you dog lovers know what I mean! We went ahead and booked our 5 day trip since I felt they would be in good hands. Shortly before we were to leave, my old guy developed a sore on his paw, which had to be soaked 3 times a day. I called Kent and he said "no problem!!". During the trip I texted often and received quick replies, and Kent even sent photos to let me know that things were going well. The dogs look great, and my old guy's paw is on the mend. Kent even left us an adorable doggie rice pack to aid in Ridley's paw healing process! I am a relatively new pet-owner but have to travel often due to family and my own lifestyle. I was getting stressed out about having to put my dog up in boarding and finding someone to feed my cat on the frequent trips I had. I found snaggle foot here on yelp, actually, and then contacted them and they got back to me within hours! I was traveling within a few days and they accommodated me immediately. During the consultation, they took the time to allow me to ask questions and also make sure they knew everything they needed to know about my animals. I was happy to get emails from them each day with pictures of my dog and cat looking relaxed and happy. I could feel very comfortable knowing they would care for my animals just like they were their owners. And upon getting home I was thrilled to see notes from each visit and some human treats for me! My dog was much more relaxed upon my return as compared to when I left him in a boarding facility. I was happy to see that it was as though my two loves didn't skip a beat. I just arrived back from my week-long trip outside of the country. Despite jet lag, I must immediately write how absolutely WOWED I was at how Kate and Kent kept my sugar pumpkin (my bird, Rico, lol) and my home while I was gone. While abroad, I received an email every single day, complete with a photo, on Rico's whereabouts. For those of you who have pets whom you love dearly, you can imagine my warm and fuzzy when I got those! They also give you an online profile that they update to the second, so you're never out of tune with what's going on with your pet. As if that wasn't enough, I came home to a business marked stationary note pad that documented, in even more detail, how Rico and Kent/Kate interacted on EACH of his three appts... EVERYDAY while I was gone. Seriously... whoa. Not to mention, my packages and mail were brought in. They even brought Rico a gift of a new toy! All of this was dope. Kent and Kate are so easy to work with and do a great job! They both love animals and it comes through in their communications. Kate was wonderful about calling and replying to our questions. And our dog Coco warmed up to Kent during our time away. We had great peace of mind that everything was fine while we were gone. Not only did Kent watch our dog with love and care, he took care of our home as well. This saved us the hassle of making arrangements with neighbors or the post office for mail, newspaper, etc. We were so appreciative of the daily notes that Kent left on the Snaggle Foot pad of paper. It helped us know what went on while we were away. Coco was very happy and so we were. Can't wait to call Snaggle Foot-Ann Arbor again. We've never had such wonderful care for our dog. I have been using Snaggle Foot ever since I moved to Ann Arbor about a year ago. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They are absolutely wonderful. I have 2 small, very energetic dogs and recently added a third dog to the pack. Snaggle Foot will come walk them whenever I ask (literally 24 hours a day) and even on short notice. They typically come to walk the dogs for 2, 30 minute walks while I am at work and the dogs love them. When I get home, the dogs are definitely tired out from the walks. Snaggle Foot also leaves a note from every walk on what time they came and left and how each dog did on the walk. I am so grateful to have all of the dog walkers at Snaggle Foot and don't know what I would do without their help. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs a reliable, flexible, and reasonably-priced pet sitter or pet walker. Words cannot express how much my dog Daisey and I LOVE Ken and Kate!! I can't believe how far above and beyond they go in showing their love for animals. Daisey is a tiny Jack Russell and ever since we moved here to Ann Arbor, less than a year ago, she had had problems with anxiety. Every time I leave her alone she panics. When I contacted Snaggle Foot to check in on Daisey this last weekend while I was out with friends from out of town, they not only graciously fit me into their busy schedule, but picked her up and took her to the dog park for a wonderful play date! They also clipped her nails, gave her the TONS of affection she loves, and left me a bouquet of beautiful flowers too!! Snaggle Foot is a nationwide franchised business but the two people running the Ann Arbor outfit are a super nice married couple, Kent and Kate. They do pet sitting, visit, walking, etc. We are using them to visit our dogs & cats at home while we are away next weekend. They charge just $18 per 30 Minute visit and new customers get a 10% discount (you do have to pre-pay your first visit, fyi). Because they are with a national franchise they are fully insured, have a fully functional website that allows you to schedule visits and update your pet's information online. They leave you notes each time they visit and even email you pictures of your pets to let you know they are doing well while you are out. We have tried a lot of kennel services here in A2 but they have all been very expensive and impersonal. We are super excited to find this quality pet care service and encourage you to check them out too. read more

Snaggle Foot is awesome! We are so happy that we used their service while we were on vacation. Kent and Kate took excellent care of our cat Skratch. Not only did they feed her, clean her litter and keep her company daily they also brought in the mail, emailed us cute pictures and left hilarious notes from Skratch's perspective. And when we got home there was a small bag of cookies in the shapes of paw prints, for humans of course. They were an excellent snack for us after a long day of travel. For the first time in 10 years Skratch didn't give us major attitude when we returned! That's how I am 100% confident she was well cared for. After trying two other sitters in Ann Arbor, I decided to give Kent (and his new assistant, Shelby) a whirl. My cat, Eliot, gets very upset when I take a long trip, and meows for hours after I return before he can finally settle down. I returned yesterday from a five-day trip to a surprisingly calm cat who was excited to see me, but NOT at all upset. Ken and Shelby sent daily emails, with photos of Eliot, that tracked his behaviour ... from shy at first to eventual visits out from under the bed! They clearly took their time with him, and made a HUGE effort to make him feel comfortable in my absence ... and the photos and email updates really went a long way to making me feel less guitly about leaving Eliot for a few days. Snagglefoot is amazing. Kent and Kate have an amazing business ethic and a love for animals that is beyond compare. One of our dogs needs meds daily. I never, ever worry about them when we are away and Snagglefoot is there. I love getting the text and pictures too. You have your own personal account to log into that you set up giving them all the details on your pets, which can be changed by you at any time. Setting up visits on-line are easy. You will get an automated response immediately and very shortly thereafter you will receive an email from Kate and Kent that your requests have been responded to. Snaggle Foot is awesome! Kate and Kent took excellent care of my dog Eddie. We loved receiving the cute emails of pictures and videos and updates with how much fun Eddie had on his visits! Eddie loved receiving the extra tender loving care that they provided for him. They met with me and my soon to be husband on short notice and were adaptable in adding additional visits and modifying times and kept in great comunication with both of us. I have two whippets, 2 and 10 year old and I was concerned about leaving them in a kennel, especially my older girl since she tends to be very sensitive, this is why I decided to try Kent and Kate's pet walking services. I was sold from the first visit and so were the girls. We love Snagglefoot!! We have used them for daily dog walks as well as have had our golden-retriever stay at Kent and Kate's house; and they have been nothing but fabulous. Notes are always left when we get home that describe the kind of walk our dog received. When she stayed with them, we got several updates and pictures to let us know she was having a good time and was being well cared for. They are always reliable and on time, and our dog seems to be excited to see them and well exercised. I've used Snaggle Foot a couple times since my first review of them, and they're consistently great. I've always booked ahead of time, but this past weekend I had to leave town right away for a family emergency, and I wasn't sure when I'd be back. I was really worried about finding someone to watch my cat on such short notice, but I called Kent, and he assured me he'd have someone come once a day until I called to let them know I was back. Kent was wonderful with our 2 crazy dogs while we were gone. We had family at our home watching our daughter and dogs, but did not feel comfortable with them walking our dogs, due to some of their not so good walking habits! We interviewed Kent and felt comfortable letting him walk the dogs. According to our family they seemed to enjoy their time spent with Kent, as well as came home good and tired! We had Kent come stay with our three high energy dogs over night in our home. They sent many photos and updates and took very good care of the boys! *two paws up! x three* The dogs were HAPPY!!! They even cleaned up the toys. Igor usually holds a grudge when we leave and he was as happy as a mud covered puppy upon return. Chester was actually worn out which is rare, and Eddie sleeping sans grump for more play that evening :) The notes from the dogs and from Snaggle left for us were a nice touch. My husband and I just returned from a five day trip to California. Kent and Kate stayed overnight with our dog Ozzie for all five days. It was a great experience for us and for Oz! We were emailed pictures of Oz daily and given updates on how he was doing, which we really liked b/c we (well, I) am helicopter mom with my dog. Oz is deaf and has special needs for this reason. I don't just trust anyone to watch him, but I do now trust Kent and Kate. We will be using them again in the future! read more
