That being said, I love The Amber Feather! Not only have I purchased some cool items, I've also consigned a few things as well. The owners are lovely and I enjoy talking "business" with them when I stop in. I've referred many people to the shop (to both buy and consign) and they haven't been disappointed either. I talked a little bit with her, and from what she said, the store is not for people who wear petite or small. It's for women who wear medium or large clothing. The fashion is for older women rather than younger women. The aesthetics of the clothing match bigger, flowery patterns like a table cloth. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are a teen or young adult, but it is for older women who wear mediums or larges. That being said, I would recommend 2nd Ave Thrift store in Union (very cheap and fashionable) or Anthem off North Union Avenue (for fashion and in-style clothing) for those younger and smaller women looking to go thrifting.
