There is ample parking which is complimentary, which is a plus! Love the attention to detail with the happy birthday menu. We started off with cocktails and the mussels. The mussels were so good! Never had mussels with noodles, but the combo was delicious. The crispy shallots plus the warm hot bread. Yum! For dinner, we ordered the halibut, snapper, and the pork. Everything was so good. I ordered the halibut which came with risotto. So light and flaky. My husband loved the pork tomahawk. The snapper was a hit too. We enjoyed a bottle of Riesling with our dinner. Love that it was a local Michigan wine! For dessert, we ordered the Dubai cheesecake. It was a little sweet for our liking, but the dessert options were so great. Lots to select from! Such a great place to celebrate and enjoy a great dinner.

The food took approximately 35 minutes to arrive at the table, fries were ice cold, fish was all breading and the French onion soup was ALL bread and cheese, 1/8 cup of soup Our waitress brought our food and never returned for drink refills or to ask about the food. Total we spent approximately $300 and honestly would have been more satisfied with the taco place across the street. Again very disappointed !!! The only thing worth eating was the biscuit .

Specials are out, NO white fish and no scallops, shrimp Lenny was dry AF and had a drop of sauce. While pricing has gone up significantly. Service was average. Eva was our server. We asked since nothing was gonna be done for it to be taken off the bill. Once seated we were sat at 8 top for 11 people and had to argue with the hostess and threaten to leave and then again ask our server for an additional empty table. It was resolved. Food menu is shrinking and price have gone up 20% over last year. To start we always arrive early and have a drink and pictures on the back patio . The Bartender had no idea how to make a Boulevardier. And didn't even know where to look? The ambience has become a burger and trailer park crowd. We probably won't come back until they bring back menu items, improve quality of food coming out or lower prices or expectations This is NOT the same DLB sadly. I don't normally leave reviews like this unless there are major issues that are NOT resolved at the local level. No attempts were made to correct salad issue until I asked the waitress. Dinner was better but the perfectly cooked stake but room temp and was not salted. I asked for kosher salt and it was brought out promptly. Our visit was on Thursday at 7:15 pm. No excuses for things to be this bad! I haven't been this unimpressed since eating a Mcdonald's hamburger. It's become Culver's with overpriced stakes :( Also this dining experience was on a Thursday night where the place was 3/4 full. Sadly our tradition ends with the DLB. I certainly wasn't disappointed. The atmosphere of this iconic restaurant takes you back to the 50's-60's era. Busboys wearing black bow ties, the host wearing a white shirt and tie. The standard chicken dinner was fantastic with sides including salad, buttery noodles, mashed potatoes with gravy and peas. If you like blue cheese, go with the homemade Roquefort salad dressing. The menu has much more to offer along with their famous chicken. If you're anywhere near the Pelston area, do yourself a favor and have dinner at this restaurant.

First off, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Old school (kind of reminded me of the 70s), good amount of televisions and a lively clientele. Just a very good place to retire to and relax after a day on the golf course or the slopes (Teddy's is right by the Boyne Golf and Ski resort). If you did a quick scan of Teddy's, you would maybe think it was a glorified bar. And you'd be dead wrong. Their food is incredible. My Dad and I each had their North Atlantic Salmon. My dad had his New Orleans Style, with the shrimp and cajun cream sauce on top, andI had mine Pan Grilled with the sun dried tomato pesto sauce. If you factor in every facet of the meal, it may have been the best Salmon dish I've ever had. Both versions were tremendous. Before I get started on the Salmon itself, your choice of side along with a vegetable came with the meal. I got the Potatoes Au Gratin with mine. And I would rank it (conservatively) as a Top 3 Potato Dish that I've had in the last 10 years. I go out to eat quite a bit. Have had a lot of potatoes. Written a lot of reviews. These Potatoes Au Gratin genuinely shocked me with how good they were. They were not complicated (I don't think they even have breadcrumbs) but the cheese flavor on them was just perfect. Like I ate my entire side in about 3 minutes. The only Potato dish I could say comes close to tastiness is Slo's Sweet Potato mash. Incredible side. Now this takes me to the Salmon. The Sun Dried Tomato Pesto Cream sauce is one of the 5 best sauces I've had in the last 10 years. Beyond tasty. I didn't really know if the "pesto" could be incorporated into the sauce heavily (tomato pesto is a pretty rare dish for restaurants to have, much less do well) . I was proven wrong. Sauce had a tremendous pesto flavor and managed to balance the cream and the other ingredients within the sauce perfectly. The only Tomato Pesto I've had that would even be comparable was at Tony's restaurant in Disney World 20 years ago, and I don't even think it's on the menu anymore. An absolutely must try sauce. And they give you tons of it Salmon was perfectly grilled, flaky, moist and had a great, mild flavor to it. You got a nice big piece of it as well. It, along with the sauce, made for one of the best meals I've had in some time. I had some bites of my Dad's Cajun Style and the fish was perfectly blackened while being accompanied by another great sauce. You can't go wrong with the salmon. Our sever Connie was incredible. Drinks were refilled constantly (despite there being a giant crowd at the restaurant) and she was extremely pleasant and informative (it was Connie who steered us towards the amazing Salmon) Absolute 10/10 spot. I'll be back!
