As you can see, I have placed no stars for this company and let me tell you why. They're lack of professionalism, timely completion, and failure to seal their work area caused my wife and I tremendous discomfort and a lot of work. I am listing the items below.
1. Promised to be done in 3 to 4 weeks max. It was more like 5 weeks from start to finish
2. They did not get all the material needed for job (Out of the goodness of my heart I went and picked up what they missed)
3. They did not seal our bathroom off properly from our master bedroom during deconstruction and our master bedroom had a thick film of dust and materials from their work on walls, furniture, duvet cover, pillows, sofa, carpet etc...
4. I added some additional work, deconstruction of bathtub and installation of vanities and additional tile work. The project manager quoted me $1,200 Total labor if I supply the materials. Which I did supply all the materials. Then I was billed over $1,900 dollars for labor.
5. Now, it has been 2 months later and our showers bullnose inside shower is peeling. I specifically asked them if they need to seal the shower, their response. That being the Project Manager and the Contractor that laid the tile. "No, you do not need to seal the shower and tile, it already has a seal on it!" Well, after research I found that the tile and bullnose is water resistant, and that for it to maintain that functionality it needs to be sealed!
6. I went back to this company and their project manager and asked what they would do? Can they come see it etc? Can they fix this? I was told by the project manager that it is a material defect and that is not her responsibility.
7. After they finished 5 weeks of construction in the bathroom our shower was clogged up and would not drain water. They told me this is also my issue. It was not an issue before they started. So, I ended up paying $500 to a plumber they brought out to clear the drain.
I have attached pics in this write up to show the peeling and the poor workmanship. If you look at the black tile on our wall, the contractor started with one side of the window lower than the rest of the wall. So, there is two different elevations of this tile which is unacceptable. Again, the project manager says this is my issue. Also, she (Project Mgr) did not want to address any of this. Then when I reached out to my insurance company to get this resolved and copied her (Project Mgr) in on the emails, because this all came from an insurance claim. My insurance company responded, "we will make this right Mr. Lee.""We may need to get a supplemental quote to get this all corrected." "Supplemental quote" meaning my insurance company was willing to correct the Poor Workmanship of this Rainbow International Suwanee, Georgia. Then the Project Manager piped up in an email and said "Will you at least give us a chance to make this right?" My point here is, she didn't want to make it right and take responsibility for their errors until she thought she could get it paid for by an insurance company when her company was at fault! Lousy company and you have been warned!! read more
