I loved how she not only met one-on-one with my son, but invited me in for the last 15 mins to review what was discussed during the session and to give ME tips on how to handle situations. My son really looked forward to meeting with her every week and learn something new! She gave him the tools to feel more in control of his brain and it has made a huge difference! Thank you, Sharon!

I'll admit that none of the kids were particularly excited to start tutoring but what elementary kid would be? After four weeks in, all three of our kids look forward to tutoring days. Clean facility, nice staff, and an owner who knows what she is doing! If your child needs a little help, leave it to Gina and her team to get them where they need to be.

My daughter needed tutoring, so we called Tutoring Club. I initially spoke with a gentleman named…read moreRyan, who quoted us a total of $300 to $400 a month for 3-4 hours a week. When we got there, Daniel greeted us, and we did both the assessment and planning appointments ( he had us waiting 10 minutes past our appointment time for the planning appointment) with him. We later found out that it wasn't $300-$400 a month for 4 hours a week, but rather $360 a month for 12 months, covering 96 hours, and they run a hard credit check. This means she would be getting 6 months of tutoring for basically $360 bi-weekly, which felt misleading. I'd rather go to a tutoring place that doesn't do a hard credit check and is upfront with their prices. Additionally, Daniel was rude when I tried to discuss my daughter's needs; he would cut me off and talk about himself not even addressing or acknowledging what I just mentioned about my daughter.

Sylvan is not only a tutoring center that focuses on academics but also a place that helps me boost my confidence and stay positive about achieving my goals. I have been in their SAT program as a sophomore and currently part of the ACT program as a junior. These programs are the best to prepare a student for exceptional scores on these college tests. Any program that one enrolls in the Sylvan team offers the best help and assistance possible in order to help that student. One hundred percent recommend!

(A little background info is that during Robert's freshman year in Algebra I, his teacher was dismissed toward the end of his second semester. He spent his last 2 months without an instructor.) We were concerned at the beginning of this year that maintaining an A in Algebra 2 and a 4.0 might be really challenging considering the past. We requested info on a tutor from his daily math teacher. We were referred to Alex Couch. This has been an absolutely wonderful experience for my son. Ms. Couch thoroughly explained the expectation of her tutoring sessions. It has helped in so many ways. Not only are the topics explained and practiced, but there is time set aside for questions and any additional help needed. My son has had the opportunity to go over homework and test reviews. Most important to us, is that he is confident going into his tests! We are now moving into the end of the semester and my son has a 101 in his Algebra 2 class. We are so thankful to Ms. Couch and would highly recommend her services. We will be continuing on with her during our son's second semester.
