As I looked through my yelp bookmarks, it said yelpers reported this place "closed" sad face. I hate when that happens. So I deleted it from my bookmarks. I still need to head over to that area, to my surprise as I drove pass it, it say OPEN!!!! Yay!! I parked on the street and checked it out. Cute cafe!! Handful of baked goods, sandwiches, and snacks. I enjoyed my coffee. Also has vintage clothing for sale and pinball machines. It was fairly quiet when I came by. I also has an almond croissant which was also delightful. Overall I really like this cafe. I will drop by again if I am in the area.

I got a Horchata drink (you can choose it with espresso as a Horchata latte), Mexican conchas, cornbread, Mexican flan, and Churros cookies. The Horchata drink was very delicious, with a subtle cinnamon and vanilla flavor mixed with milk. The cornbread was good. I've never had real Mexican flan before, so I had no idea how the real one tasted. As I tasted their flan, the texture was bubbly, not really smooth, which was not to my liking. The Churros cookie was very dense and sweet, interesting flavor. My favorite was the Conchas, very buttery and perfectly sweetened. I really liked it The cafe's ambience is very cozy, and the staff are very friendly. I will definitely go back to this cafe to try a different menu next time. They offer unique Mexican-style drinks and desserts. It's worth trying this place!

Currently, they're limited to just a few desserts/pastries/drinks as they work through their soft opening to test things out. I tried one of their cookies which was very delicious. It was our first time here, but we have been wanting to come for some time now, just always hesitated because the price was on the higher end. The one thing that disappointed us was the attitude of the lady working there. She was not friendly at all, didn't even smile once during the 3 hours that we were there. There is zero customer service. When it came time to leave instead of giving us a 30 min reminder to usher the kids out, she went in at 6pm and shouted at everyone. I think this is very unnecessary as the kids were having fun. As parents we were already trying to get the kids out of the play area to the best of our ability, but kids don't necessarily respond well to yelling. I liked the venue, but won't be coming back. We came here to have fun, and this kind of customer service has definitely left a very negative impression for us.

There are also a handful of playground toys, rides, slides and other attractions, complete with foam padding, safety nets and flashing lights, guaranteed to attract their attention! Admission is $28 per child (with one "free" adult allowed to accompany them) with no time restrictions. Posters in the restrooms also advertise special "after-hours" events, such as a Nerf War night for 8+ year olds, which sounds like a blast, even for an old kid-at-heart like me! About the only thing to complain about would be the rather terse and aloof staff running the front desk and managing the expected intake forms and disclaimers - they could be a little more lively and upbeat, if you ask me. That said, they do a good job keeping up the place, performing routine rounds to put toys away, vaccum, wipe things down, and generally get everything squared away in an orderly fashion.

OFFERING For $21 (or $19 with a punch card), you get admission for one adult and child for two hours. This gives you access to: - Activities for toddlers and younger elementary school-aged children; - Motion-based activities (like a climbable treehouse and slides and merry-go-round - which costs $1); - Role play-based activities (like an airplane, firehouse, police station, farm house, gas/service station, fifth-wheel camper, hospital, dentist, restaurant, food market, post office/bank, news station, ice cream stand, school, and animal hospital); - Three party rooms (two on the main floor and one upstairs); - A cafeteria; and, - Three motion-based vehicles for children (they move back and forth in one spot) that costs $1 each: a bus, ice cream truck, and a car. ...because of the $1-based rides, you made find yourself needing to bring a lot of coins (only loonies accepted) and spending more than just $19 :) Like many other children's museums, the role-playing areas are often sponsored and logo'd by local businesses. === 3. SERVICE At the reception, staff are friendly; staff are friendly in helping as needed between the overall cleanings and play-area-resets they do every two hours. We did not come here for a party, and so can't comment on the experience with them hosting parties (though we observed what looked like a Spiderman-based parties with themed balloons and someone in costume). === 4. ENVIRONMENT It's bright and the high ceilings give a feeling of openness; the areas can also be easily traversed by people of all ages and abilities. Wheelchairs and baby strollers fit everywhere (except in the tightest of role-playing areas). We did not check out the restrooms while here. Parking is a bit odd as you may find yourself parking around the building/corner since many spaces in front are reserved for other businesses.

Yikes, $26 for a 2 hour visit for my toddler??? I love my child, but I'm not sure I love her…read moreenough to pay this kind of admission fee. It's a HUGE indoor playground with TONS to do, but my main deterrent would be the admission price. They also have a sign up indicating that they will be increasing prices as well. I wasnt impressed with the lack of staff presence on the floor. There were a LOT of bare footed kids AND parents, despite clear signage about their socks policy. There were also children still wearing their shoes, and an adult who climbed the lava slide IN HER BARE FEET even though there's a big sign that says no bare feet and no adults. The lack of parental presence with some of the kids is also quite disappointing, as one girl was quite pushy with anyone who tried to get into a play structure with her. Also, people who exit/ enter the playground area aren't very careful, leaving the gates open on a few occasions that I noticed. (as my toddler tried making a beeline out of these gates). Pretty cool that they have laser tag here (for an additional fee that's cheaper when purchased the same day as your visit). Cubbies for your shoes and jacket, but no lockers for valuables. They say no outside food/drink, but it didn't seem strictly enforced, as there were tons of water bottles there. Free parking out front.
