I have been going to Happy Nails for years, even when they had to close. The last time I was there…read morethe manicurist Barbra was rushing through the manicure and pedicure which only took 55 minutes. Although I was 4 minutes late, I did call them. Give me a break. They weren't busy at all. Then she kept twisting my fingers and acted like she was angry. I told her I have arthritis and to go easy. Didn't stop her. Anyhow worse thing is that the gel manicure lasted 5 days. I bet she skipped a step. I did ask her if she was in a rush and she said she only had so much time. It's a miserable place now with miserable people. I'm going where my business is appreciated. Also I think I too well and always call in advance. Only late once since they've been open.

My mom and I could her overhear her talking about us snidely (in English) and rolling her eyes - because we had rescheduled appointments. We NEVER didn't show up, and we never canceled at the last minute, we only rescheduled day(s) prior. Ella was visibly irritated that my mom requested her and she acted like a bratty child. Like actual rolled eyes. She had one of the other workers confront my mom about it. He was nicer than Ella, but after he was done, she kept talking about us to him. They just lost a lot of business from my family and from word of mouth. Rude customer service is a turn off - even if it's just from one single immature employee.

I walked in on a Monday late afternoon without an appointment. I was promptly and kindly greeted by Helen as I walked in and they were very accommodating at getting me in after a less than 10 minute wait. There was a few that walked in after me and did not have an appointment and Helen was very kind when she told them that they wouldn't be able to take them at that time but let them know what time later they would be available for services. I highly recommend making an appointment! They had a great color selection with plenty of polishes for regular manicures and gel. I opted for a pedicure and gel manicure on this visit as I have a wedding to attend over the weekend and my CA Bridal Shower and Bachelorette next week. Melanie was my nail tech and she was so wonderful. Quick, efficient and persist. When it came to my manicure, she checked in several times to be sure the length and shape style was to my preference. I was trying out a particular paint style as an option for my upcoming wedding. I showed her a picture and she executed it flawlessly. I enjoyed my first time experience so much, I booked a future appointment for myself and full bridal party (8 total) for us to get manis/pedis the day before my wedding. Even as we are coming out of the tail end of these crazy Covid times, they have strong safety protocols in place which I appreciated. Very excited to have found a wonderful nail salon that is local to me.

I have had so many bad/subpar experiences at nail salons in the area and was going in to have them soak off a terrible set of tips I got done for vacation. Nina (& Thu) listened to my complaints and explained to me how they could fix the set I had, as to not waste the money I already paid for them. I ended up letting them fix what I didn't like and Nina did an awesome job! Long story short but I have very weird, flat nail beds. I will be back for sure!!

I had a facial, a brow wax and some light body waxing. She hit me up for $275. I was shocked after coming here for 10 years and having the same services in addition in the past I've added on manicures and pedicures and it never came to $275. So disappointed. She's all business. She'll talk about how wonderful she is and what it's going to do for your face but I left there with red blotches that still haven't gone away. I realize it's often typical to have some redness after facial but this is unusually deep purple and I hope it'll be gone in the morning. I do not recommend Tracy at all... And to charge me $275. She's out of her mind. Additionally I didn't even get a hand massage while she had my mask drying.... Instead she went out for a half an hour to work on another customer when I should have been having a hand massage.
