Henry seemed extremely knowledgeable and explained what the problem was and what all of our options were very clearly. He did show up a little late, but in his defense our house is a bit hard to find. We've been in contact with him the past few days as we've been contemplating our options, and he has provided very helpful information every step of the way. Unfortunately it looks like we're going to have to replace the unit, but the prices we got from Henry were competitive, and we are confident that he and his team will do a great job. I'll post more after the job is done, but so far, we're very happy with Reliable AC!! Update in 2022: I've had Henry help with several AC issues over the last decade at both my current house, previous house, and my moms house. I've recommended him countless times. Anyone who lives in Brickell knows that getting a service tech into these buildings with the parking situation is a total nightmare--but they made it look easy. They're super professional and actually honor their warranty. Every time I've had a minor glitch, they answer the phone immediately and stop by at the earliest time possible, and usually have it fixed the same day. I called them again today because of this Miami cold snap, and Daniel was a total lifesaver. He was at my place within hours and figured out the issue right away. Turns out, it wasn't even my unit--it was a problem with the building's cooling tower. Daniel literally went out of his way to talk to the building manager and the tech team to get it sorted. To top it off, he waived the diagnostic fee since it wasn't my unit's fault. Just a genuinely nice guy and a great company. I'm never calling anyone else for AC stuff. Period.

This company was recommended to me, and although their service was prompt, and the technician was…read morevery nice, they are estimate of what was wrong, and what the problem was what is the total lie!! I was given the choice of three estimates which were way out of my price range and told the guy would need to call somebody else to get another estimate. The estimates were anywhere from the cheapest of $1500. Approx to over $3000. I was totally shocked as my unit is not that old and was told that the motherboard was not sending signals to the compressor to turn on and if they replace the motherboard, it still may not send the signal and then I would have to replace my compressor also. I called another company that was also recommended to me and a technician within 10 minutes found the problem to be a $240 capacitor, which was changed in less than a half an hour and I had air again!! I can't imagine a company trying to rip off somebody buy so much money and completely miss diagnosing, a simple problem and trying and turning it into a huge disaster! I would never recommend this company. They are completely dishonest or maybe it was just the person they sent here.

SoFlow replaced my mom's 25 YEAR OLD split York system. As the tech said, they don't make 'em…read moretoday like they used to! SoFlow came on time and the installer was the same guy that initially inspected her old unit. Both gentlemen were very nice and they did a great job taking away the old unit and putting the new unit on a new pad and plumbing in the ducting and drain pipe. Called up A Line and they were there within the hour. Got it back up and running in the dark and came back the next day to finish the job. I was only able to speak with them over the phone, but their communication was excellent and they reiterated everything they did in detail. My tenants had nothing but good things to say, and most important, their A/C was back on for the night. This is the first time I've used them, but I'll be calling them next time. I knew it would be a quick fix. They were flexible with me and I was able to get a spot within a few days. When the guys arrived to do the repair they were quick and my AC was working again within about 25 minutes. Pretty smooth experience. I would use them again in the future. I think its important to remember that you often need to give a day or two in order to schedule an appointment.

From the very start of beginning the process of finding the right AC system, Emmanuel was extremely responsive to all texts and messages, at basically all times of the day. I had a million inane questions and concerns; he answered all of them. We narrowed the list to three 5-ton options. The most expensive one was of my choosing, an American Standard unit, and the other two were a Rheem and a GrandAire (which I hadn't heard of before, it's a subsidiary of Carrier). He recommended strongly that I go with the cheapest one, the GrandAire. He was absolutely correct! It saved thousands of dollars, and it works extremely well. He added a new Nest thermostat, as well. I couldn't be happier. The [minimum 2-year] warranty that he backs up his work with has to be one of the best. If you're in the market for any HVAC work, do not hesitate to hit up Emmanuel and Island Breeze Air.
