My husband and I live in Seattle and have a mobile home that we are going to live in in Sequim…read morestarting next year while we build a cabin nearby. Unfortunately, the roof began to leak, and I contacted this business because they were #1 for the local area on Yelp and had good reviews. I called on Sunday and they returned my call on Tuesday. I understand that they were delayed in calling me back because they were busy. The woman on the phone was friendly and verified that they can do repairs on mobile home roofs, so we set up an appointment to meet sometime that Thursday. I advised them that I did not live over there currently, and would have to come from Seattle to meet him that day. I had to plan to work virtually from the mobile home Thursday and therefore, go over Wednesday night on the ferry, because I start work early in the morning. He contacted me and told me that he was on his way from Port Angeles late Thursday morning. Unfortunately, he would arrive right before I had to host a virtual meeting, but I thought we had enough time. He arrived and he looked at the leaking area inside and went up to look on the roof. He came back down a few minutes later and we tried to talk about what the plan was, but I had to start hosting my meeting immediately and we could not finish. He said he'd call me so we could finish the conversation to talk about options. That was Thursday at lunch time. Two voicemails from me and 3 days later, still nothing from him to "follow up" on our conversation about potential options. Yeah, I understand busy, but come on- blowing me off like that? You've had enough time to give a quick phone call. That's just unprofessional. But what really ticks me off is that he also knew that I had to make a special trip to come over and meet him there (including the expense of the ferry back and forth) just to meet him for this appointment! I do NOT recommend this business. It seems like he is potentially *only* interested in big ticket/contract business. He does not charge an hourly rate and will only bill by project. He told me that he was one of the only contractors approved to apply a certain type of roof membrane for a complete roof replacement, etc. , etc. Yeah, whatever. * * * Summary on this guy: * * * NOPE * * *- you might want to read up on simple business etiquette if you want to keep your business, young sir. Even if you don' t want to do the job, at least say that it doesn't fit out of respect for people's time. I wouldn't be so ticked, but I had to take a lot of time and pay for the ferry to go back and forth, only to be left hanging. * * *

I am happy to recommend David Field from All Things Possible Painting LLC. He painted the exterior…read moreof our 38 year old house and outbuilding this summer, plus a deck. He also did some interior painting in the sun room. David got back to us immediately as soon as we contacted him. He quickly came out and did measurements, and gave us a bid on the job within a couple of days. He was always super responsive any time we called, emailed or texted him. He proactively kept us informed of when he would be on the job. David's level of experience and competence was apparent at all times. He had a clear understanding of which paint was best for each application. When spray painting the siding, David always had the sprayer in one hand and a roller in the other hand, alternating between spraying and rolling. For the trim, he used roller and brush. I was amazed at the level of detailed prep work he did. He spent weeks sanding, caulking and priming. I think he went through 2 cases of caulk, caulking every place where water could possibly get in. He took down all the gutter down-spouts in order to paint behind them (and put them back up with new powder-coated screws afterwards). He took down light fixtures, etc. He used stain-blocking oil primer to prime large areas. Every surface got 2 coats of finish paint. The finished job looked great. There were no messes -- no paint spilled or slopped onto places where it shouldn't be. I felt very positive about the entire experience and felt lucky to have hired such a careful and conscientious guy. He painted our house as if it was his own. I recommend him to friends every chance I get. --Mark Newbold, Sequim

Angeles Electric sent two crew members, Troy Commerce & Jeff Breithaupt, to do the job. I thought, as usual, one would be standing around watching the other work. That certainly was not the case. As soon as they parked their vehicles, I showed them where the panel was as well as the range in the kitchen. Troy immediately was in the attic doing prep for the wire going down inside of the wall to the range and Jeff started working on the panel in the garage. A job that was estimated to take hours only took an hour and 15 minutes. I'm not sure how you feel but to me money saved is money earned. Troy and Jeff did a nice clean job and represented their company really well. I'm 81 and have hired many plumbers and electricians during the past years and these two guys are the best.
