We had the absolute best experience here. If you have never been & are looking for a place with…read moreamazing food & incredible service, this is the place to go! we were visiting from out of town for the weekend and decide to go here for as a little celebration for completing our half marathon. our server, Jessica, was incredibly kind and answered all of our questions (since we are soooo indecisive!). For food we ended up ordering and sharing the zucchini latkes, piri piri chicken, pork belly, mezze dip plate (we got the red pepper hummus, tomato feta & brown butter labneh), halloumi and the potato fingerlings. The bread for the dip plate was homemade, it was to die for! The dips to go with were amazing. Each of the tapas we had was perfectly balanced with spicy, fresh, sweet and savoury touches. The attention to detail in the food is very evident. Everything was delicious. We couldn't even choose a favourite dish because everything was THAT good!!!! It is not often you go out to eat and every single dish is a hit, but here everything truly was. the owner & chef, Kenny visited our table multiple times, chatted with us, checked in on our food & explained exactly what was in each dish. He was extremely personable and also made our experience tonight extremely special. at the end of our meal, we couldn't decide on which dessert to get, so we got the lemon ice cream dish and the chocolate hazelnut mousse. They were both absolutely delicious. the lemon ice cream was so refreshing and the chocolate hazelnut mouse was rich but not too sweet & the crumble on top was incredible. The staff even surprised us at the end of our meal with a little something to congratulate us on our run today. we have never seen a staff do anything like this before, it was the kindest surprise and we are so grateful. they made our night so special. honestly, none of us can remember the last time we had food and service as wonderful as we did tonight. Thank you Jessica and Kenny for making our evening so special! We can't wait to come back next time we are in town & HIGHLY recommend stopping here if you get the chance!

Visiting from California! Safe to say this restaurant…read morechecked all the boxes for us, we came back two days in a row! Our first night in we had a table in the back and shared the french fries, garlic bread, and hummus chips. As for drinks we enjoyed the Cruel Summer and Uncommon Tropical Cider. The service was top tier and very welcoming. We came during the Late Night menu and the atmosphere was very calm and perfect to chat. Our second trip we were in around 7:20pm service was very quick despite the crowd. We sat at the bar and had a great conversation with the bartender Rhiannon. This time we had the eggplant fries, french fries, and a Margherita pizza. We enjoyed more cocktails settling with Cruel Summer and Eat, Apres, Love. To end it off we had the Chocolate Pot de Crème. Everything was amazing. So good we got no pictures of our food the second night. I would definitely come back here again next time I find myself in Calgary!

We loooooved the brussel sprouts in particular. The beets were served cold and tasted pickled. They werent our favourite; the pizza was very yummy and my husband inhaled the winter squash remarking how well balanced it was. For drinks we had sunrise spritz and a pilsner (all 0%). We will definitely be back.

Surprisingly generic, north americanized, and extremely salty Italian food. Service was friendly and appetizers were fine. Ambience is ok. Overall, highly pricey compared to what is offered.

Yaaaasssss... this place rocks. Came here as a party of three on a chilly Monday night and rocked…read morethe early week blues right out of their socks. Lovely pours of interesting wines, fine specialty cocktails, a bunch of shared plates that included flatbreads, olives, charcuterie, cheese and ultimately a couple of dozen oysters that disappeared almost before the server was able to make it back to the kitchen. What's more to like? Especially nice touches on the oysters that sat on a bed of sea salt with toppings available that included fermented horseradish, a nicely seasoned jalapeno puree and a red wine reduction to perk up the briny little invertebrates. Yum. We did not mess around, spared no overindulgences (burp) and still barely managed to spend $300. Yes, that's a lot of money, but when something is this well put together, very well worth the price in my opinion. And when you're spending that much, any sin gets pointed out in great detail. No such issue. Love to return here and concur with fellow Yelpers the strong rating for this venue. Highly recommended.
