I first met Gall Raiman when my husband and I went in to select our engagement ring. We had already shopped the major diamond stores (Zales, Diamond Exchange, Robbins, etc.) and had done quite a bit of research, so we thought we knew what we were doing. I wish I would have had the type of experience had by other reviewers. Several years ago, my personal jeweler sent my ring with a 4.25 carat center diamond to his "friends" at Raiman Rocks to see if they were interested in purchasing it. While in their possession, they removed the large diamond and lost the setting which contained over 20 additional diamonds (the ring was appraised at over $30k). They offered $1000 or to remake a similar setting. While negotiating a settlement, my jeweler traveled for medical treatment. His associates continued the communication with Raimon Rocks during his absence. Unfortunately, my jeweler passed away from complications and that's when Raimon Rocks ceased all contact. They ignored all attempts to finalize some sort of compensation for the missing ring setting, including a letter from my attorney. I am disappointed in their lack of responsibility for having lost someone's property - I'm still not sure why it was necessary to remove the stone. I'm disappointed they did not complete their settlement communication and even more, I'm disappointed that they disrespected my jeweler, who considered them as friends, and his associates. read more
