They carry jellybean, chocolates and many boxed novelty candy. The staff is super friendly and helpful. As we purchased over $100, we got a cap and shopping bag as gifts. This could easily be your one-stop-shop if you're looking for Alaska souvenirs. They have keychains, shot glasses, t-shirts, stuffed animals, tote bags, rain gear, snacks and sweets and more. Sockeye Sam's also has the largest selection of raincoats, umbrellas, and sweatshirts, all staples that a lot of cruisers often forget to pack. I appreciate that the store sells various sundries (Advil, bandaids, etc.) and small toiletries, too. If you're arriving in Ketchikan via cruise ship, you will walk right by this store. They pretty much have everything you need to take goodies to the folks back home. Pro tip: visit a local grocery store if you want to find really cool Alaska souvenirs. This is the only place in town that I could find themed guitar picks. Understand, I don't play them, I arrange and secure them (usually in a flower pattern) to hard cardboard and make small shadow boxes. For anyone concerned about transporting a totem back home, about half of their stock has the wide wings detachable from the vertical pole with just one screw. That made for safe transport in our luggage, and it looks great back home.
