Some of the goods are local, but not many, and you'll pay a nice markup due to the shop's easily accessed location. The shop is large, clean, spacious, and well organized. This could easily be your one-stop-shop if you're looking for Alaska souvenirs. They have keychains, shot glasses, t-shirts, stuffed animals, tote bags, rain gear, snacks and sweets and more. Sockeye Sam's also has the largest selection of raincoats, umbrellas, and sweatshirts, all staples that a lot of cruisers often forget to pack. They are great quality. Such an amazing selection of souvenirs. They had great selection beautiful hand carved Ulue knives. Very reasonably priced. The service was exceptional. We even were helped by "Sockeye Sam" and his beautiful wife. They've owned it since 1990. It's definitely mom and pop Walmart of souvenirs. This is a MUST SEE. you would be disappointed.
