I waited about 45 minutes to an hour, so patience is definitely part of the experience. That said, if you happen to be walking by and notice the line is unusually short, take that as your sign and get in line immediately. You may never see an opportunity like that again. Service was great, and everyone was friendly and welcoming despite how busy they were. They even surprised us with complimentary shots at the end of the meal, which was a fun way to finish things off. The food alone makes this one worth putting on your Prague list--just be prepared to wait for it!

Pork's almost always has a line and is known amongst locals as a tourist spot. Despite this, I…read morefound that Pork's had some of the best pork knuckles that I tried in Prague. After trying some relatively disappointing pork knuckles, I decided to take a chance on Pork's. We went after visiting the Prague Castle around 3 PM. Having walked past it a few times, there was always a line, and I was hoping eating between meal times would help. While it was shorter, there was still a line, but it moved quickly. When we got into the restaurant, I immediately noticed how smoothly everything operated. The restaurant was quite large. Much bigger than I anticipated. The second we sat down, a server approached us to ask if we knew what we wanted. It was clear that their main goal was to rotate people out of the restaurant as fast as possible. I knew I wanted the pork knuckle, but I wish we had a bit more time to look through everything, including the drinks. I ordered the pork knuckle first and planned to get a drink when the server came back. Before I knew it, the dish was on our table. With the small menu and constant turnaround, it wasn't surprising that the food was already prepared and only needed to be plated and sent to our table. It took about three minutes total. The skin was extremely crisp, so much so that it was hard to cut through at points, but the knives provided were nice and sharp. The first bite I had was extraordinary. The meat inside was still juicy and tender despite not being made to order. It was so soft and contrasted perfectly with the crispy and oily skin. It was very rich, but was nicely balanced by the necessary mustard that came with it. As I continued eating, I found that the whole knuckle wasn't perfectly consistent, with some bites being slightly dry. However, this didn't take away from the overall experience and the high highs that the dish achieved. If anything, there needed to be a little more mustard just to have enough for each bite of meat. The pork knuckle here was the best I had during my time in Prague. Pork's is all about putting food on the table and cycling guests in and out of their restaurant, which I respected. They aren't trying to blow customers away with outstanding service, which is still friendly, but is very limited in interactions to keep things quick. The food alone carries the restaurant to a high mark that makes up for any shortcomings in the service experience. Pork's is an easy restaurant to recommend in Prague as a great place to try a delicious pork knuckle and more.

There are many tables along the water and we were lucky enough to get one by going right when they opened-6pm. They told us we had to leave by 8 if we sat there so I'm guessing a lot of people enjoy the sunset views. So romantic. The food has an assortment of small plates so my boyfriend and I shared. I'm not sure if this is frowned upon because the waitress didn't appear as of it was common. There's just no way to try everything we wanted without sharing. She wasn't great at English, so maybe she was just confused. Ok so asparagus soup. Very unique flavors, like nothing I've ever had. Very creamy and rich, definitely recommend. White Asparagus dish. Small but the sauce was out of this world. It was similar to hollandaise, but much better. Only 3 come on the small portion so be mindful. Beef filet mignon tips. This was way over cooked for fillet, kid of dad because we were excited to try. Maybe ask for rare, as the lady actually didn't ask us so we assumed they would bring it out as it should be-bummer. Dumplings with roast beef. Ok so when I hear dumpling I first think Chinese style, and secondly think Southern style-this was more like Vietnamese style. It was basically a taco with roast beef, but a fluffy shell like an Asian taco. Kind of thrown off, but enjoyed the flavor ok. Wouldn't order again though. Pizza Calabrese. So simple, so hard to mess up, and so good. Definitely was a good addition to the variety of food we got. We enjoyed the fullest body rose as it was still daytime but we wanted a bit richer flavor than white wine in the warm weather. I believe it was the merlot blend. A bit on the sweet side, but still delicious. Bon appetit!

Menu is Czech favorites and fresh seafood. Not spotting anything that jumped off the menu, I ordered the hamburger. There is an excellent selection of wines. The sommelier is one of the owners & had spot on recommendations. Pricing is a bit $$$, but again, you get a view of the passing tour boats, swans, night lights and Charles Bridge romantics and party people all of which will create a lasting memory.

How can you not try a place with a name like that? Saw the bras hanging as we walked in, made me chuckle. We were seated right away, in a small room with a fair amount going on. I picked the Jim Morrison along with the fries and lovely K had the Janis Joplin, also with fries. Both choices were a very good sized portion with a good amount of fries. The JM stated it's spicy, and it was indeed so. The JJ is also a good sized portion, but it had too much going on for K. What really let the meal down was the fries. They were not hot, and had been cooked too long. The outside was crispy with a good crunch, but the interior was not what we were looking for. Could have been epic with nice fries, but they missed the mark by just a bit.
