Yesterday we rented the 18 foot pontoon. It was for six of us. The one thing that really stood out for me was the staff. They were all very friendly and courteous. The weather wasn't the greatest yesterday but they said we could go out anyways if we would like too. We went out and shortly after it started to rain really bad behind us. We missed the rain but someone from the office called us three times while we out to check on us. They were really concerned about our safety and wanted to know if we needed any help. The price for the pontoon was fair. We rented it for a half-day. The only reason why I'm knocking off one star is because of the pontoon was a little worn out. It worked fine but it could've been in a little bit better condition. Overall we had a great time and I will definitely use them again in the future. read more

I intentionally put my prescription sunglasses in my glove compartment on the jet to keep them safe. As soon as I jumped off the jet ski at the end of the day to remove my life preserver the employee retrieved the contents of the glove compartment and he dropped my glasses in the water. It may have been an accident that he did not want to admit. read more

We reserved a Bayliner for a family trip, and the boat we were given was very poorly maintained. The engine wouldn't reach any significant speeds and would cut in and out constantly. The seats were ripped up and there was trash in the storage compartments. When we mentioned the deficiencies to management, the lady was disrespectful and unapologetic. We wish we had read some reviews before booking because it seems we're not alone in our experience. This company needs to up their game when it comes to customer service and maintenance of their equipment. read more

We rented three jet skis from Raging Water Sports and had a blast! They made it super easy, made sure we knew how to handle the jet skis safely and where to go on the waterway. All the guys were super friendly and helpful. If you're less experienced, would recommend an early morning start time when fewer boats are out and you can go full tilt! read more

terrible experience , boat wasn't working properly asked for help they never came back to help us , said he would talk to manager and come back to assist 3 hours later no one came back. We took the boat back to marina and started sinking , all of our belongings floating in water , when Manager finally came to drive us back as half of our guest got rescued by another boat , he kept saying the anchor is in the water , which it wasn't the boat was clearly not operable .the boat literally wouldn't go above 5 MPH , they did refund us and not charge but that's the bare minimum considering our boat was sinking , all of our items and belongings were submerged in water , there was 2 life jackets but 10 guests , also please don't say the boat can fit 10 people if that's not the case , it should be based off weight not occupancy because we had 10 like they stated and it was the scariest , worst experience I have had . The manager jack was kind and helpful once he came to drive the boat back but the employees need more training , don't say you're going to come back and help us then leave us there, we rented a boat for the day and never got to ride around in the boat we made it 5 minutes out and that's it , this Boat should have never been able to go out in the water as it was not safe and not working properly , waver or not you should be responsible for your boats and the upkeep and maintenance . read more

We made reservations for jet skis and when we got there they claimed otherwise and rented out our jet skis to other customers and said that we would have to wait over an hour to ride. After confirming the number we had called, the old lady got really defensive and was extremely rude. We asked for compensation for their failure to do their job correctly, she said no, telling us that she didn't want our business anymore. read more

Me and 2 of my friends rented 3 PCW the lady in the office put on a little safety video and told use we're to go on a map. The staff is very friendly and explained how to ride. Got the hang of it right away. You can ride around 2 bridges and see one of the Forts in St Augustine. They also have a fishing charter in the same office. read more

We had a terrible experience with this company. We arrived early to take the test to rent jet skis and it was absolute chaos in the office. The young man working was polite, but overwhelmed and it took forever to register, take the test, sign all the paperwork. Everything had to be entered manually and it was a nightmare with papers, credit cards and scantrons constantly being shuffled around. It took us so long to get to the jet skis that the weather had dramatically changed. The two locals in our party did not want to go out as there was lightening in the distance, The employees simply said..."oh the storms don't always come this way." Within 15 minutes of being on the jet skis with bad weather the entire time, they called the group in (and rightfully so). Understandably, nobody can control the weather, but they encouraged the group to go out. After the cursory tour, the group came in and the young man wanted to charge each person for 15 minutes. When we questioned the fairness of this charge, the nice young man called the owner who reduced the charge to $40. It was pouring, we were unhappy, so we just paid and left. The next day the owner mistakingly called me to confirm a reservation for that day. I explained that the guests had already left town and asked him if I could tell him about our experience the day before. He listened as I compared our experience to paying for a movie that then breaks after 15 minutes into the show. He said he appreciated the feedback as locals were an important part of their business, but did not offer to refund the charges. Had we insisted on going out, I would understand, but the employee encouraged the group to go despite the warnings clearly present in the sky. We have lots of family and friends who come through town. The $40 charge will never make up for all our lost business. read more

We reserved a 20' deck boat today and had a great experience. Any problems we had were dealt with quickly by a very friendly staff. Everyone, including the owners were very kind and helped make the day memorable. The boat seats and interior were not in perfect shape, however, we realize that it was a rental and did not expect perfection with numerous people using the boat. We saw numerous dolphins and were able to stop and enjoy watching them swim. We would definitely come back! read more

Terrible experience. Boat was poorly maintained, dirty, ripped seats, motor barely ran. If thinking of renting a boat run away from this place! We have rented boats from several companies in the St. Augustine area and this one was by far the worst. Staff was unconcerned with our experience and very defensive when we mentioned our disappointment with the boat. Until they invest in new boats steer clear of this place. read more

Went here for my husbands birthday to rent a jet ski (both of us rode on one). Price is about 106 after taxes, this pricing includes fuel and is for 1 hour. On the water. Instructions are easy and concise, the woman (who I assume runs the joint) is very friendly, however, some of their other employees need a lesson in customer service. I called a few times in advance for further information and I was mostly greeted with rudeness and little to no help. As we came back from our excursion one of the guys (3-4 of these guys work the dock, giving you life jackets and helping you on your apparatus as well as guiding you into the inlet) was extremely rude. Basically scolding my husband as if he were a child because he accidentally went a LITTLE (5 mph at the most) fast near the dock, mainly because he was going the wrong way and needed to turn out (on a jet ski you must step on the gas to turn). This young man told us that we (his customers) made them look like"real idiots" and went on and on and on, basically whining like a 3 year old at this point. I understand we were in the wrong as we were near boats in which some individuals live in, but if you want to let your customers know something...try using you common sense and address us with respect, don't speak to us as if were some hooligans in a bar. Needless to say, we did not tip these jokers and I will never again bring my service to such a poorly ran place. You treat your customers like children yet we're paying you to have a good time. A little advice for the employees of this establishment, learn how to treat your customers in a respectable manner, it goes a long way. read more

Terrible experience! The boat we were given had significant motor issues and could not reach a speed faster than about 9mph. The boat was described to have a 150 horsepower engine and should have been sufficient to pull a knee board. We were unable to get our knee boarder up! To make matters worse, we were unlucky enough to be caught in a thunder storm, which made the very slow and chugging motor a real problem. We were afraid that it would suddenly quit and we would be stuck in the storm! When we finally returned to the dock, the lady who manages the company was unapologetic about the poorly maintained boat with such significant motor problems. Not only did she seem uncaring about the boat issues but she was rather rude. We will be disputing the charges with our credit card company. Do not rent from them!!! read more
