It was an incredible start to my birthday! They were so mannerly and awesome personality for getting there at 5:30am on a Sunday you'd never know it!! We had the perfect weather and tide conditions for kayaking! They were enjoyable and knowledgable. We each took out a single. They also have doubles and other equipment for rentals. Definitely worth it!! Clearly they know what they're doing. We couldn't thank them enough. Hoping we get to go out with them again sometime soon!! We're not members so write all you want they said, so for others that think the BBB is so awesome I as a consumer and father of 4, Pop-pop of 6 beg to differ with you. Now, as for Ocean Extreme and its staff & owners I've personally known Cory and Emily for several years. In that time I've not seen a couple of nicer people that are in business. Emily goes out of her way in every class she teaches to help EVERYONE and keeps her fees so low I dont know how they can afford to drive there with their equipment. They always coordinate SUP Socials, SUP Moonlight Paddles, SUP Yoga, and SUP Surf Lessons( they sometimes ask folks for a few bucks if they have their own equipment other wise their fees are the cheapest around). They have a large Kite Selection, SUP collection and they now even carry the Bote Paddle-boards that all the guys want so they can fish off of them in comfort. Those boards are awesome.. They allow people to try boards which most places don't, they go out of their way all the time to help teach beginners and make sure during our socials everyone has their legal items as SUP's are considered Vessels.. Great people and great prices... Go see their inventory or let them take you on one of their SUP outings. You wont be disappointed .

Got to the store today (3/28/26) and the tricycle wouldn't fit in my Highlander. For a small fee, Annette and Chris delivered the tricycle to the Walk site and then picked it up once I was finished. The fish weren't showing themselves like they sometimes do during flood tides, but we still got a few shots in. Paddling through the flats on a paddle board is the way to go. The sunrise tour was stunning -- truly the most beautiful time to be on the water as the birds and critters wake up. We're planning to book another tour to do the bioluminescence paddle at night as well. This sunrise tour is going on my list of best things to do in Jax -- it's truly NE FL at its best.
