The only thing the place could do with is a little bit more atmosphere but I suspect that to be largely due to the staff and clientele that frequent the tea rooms.

The food demonstrates that you can get quality at a reasonable price and I always find myself tempted by some of the home made offerings even though my original intention might be just to buy a cup of tea! Every single time there is a different pastry to try (or so it seems), along with cakes, sausage rolls (normal or spicy), chocolate, macrons (so many varieties - my favourite being salted caramel) and the most amazing different kinds of bread. Everything he sells is made the morning before the bakery opens and there is a limited amount. Once it's sold out its sold out!
