I do not recommend this office…read more Communication is extremely poor and access to actual providers is limited. All communication is funneled through front office staff, and there is no direct way to speak with a medical provider in a timely manner. Appointments to see a provider are scheduled weeks out, even when issues are time-sensitive. In my case, I had a medical concern and made multiple attempts to contact the office -- phone calls, messages, and emails -- and no one responded. Lab orders were delayed for weeks, and when they were finally sent, they were unsigned, making them unusable. I had to call again to try to correct the issue and again received no follow-up. The lack of accountability and breakdown in communication was unacceptable. The experience felt disorganized and unprofessional, and ultimately I chose not to return. Notably, my provider has since left the practice as well. If you are seeking responsive, medically sound care, I would advise looking elsewhere

I do not know how effective the other functions operate as I didn't utilize them. I was a first time visit. The doctor's appointment went well. She helped me develop a plan, and advised me to get as much done as possible before the next appointment. At the one week mark, I did not receive the orders for the diagnostics needed. The practice has not returned phone calls or emails as is recommended in their voicemail menu. So they charged me for a service that is now useless because I have not received what was promised and paid for. This is called bait and switch. They will be reported to the state medical board.

I…read morewas very fortunate to run across the other positive reviews for Karen here on Yelp! and she was in-network for me, so I gave it a shot! Today was my initial visit. I have to say, I don't think I've *ever* had a day-one initial consult experience as thorough, positive & caring as it was with Karen today. I can't believe that she's registered as "only" a nurse - she's much more knowledgeable than 99% of the doctors I've had, listens incredibly well, and is very down-to-earth with her advice and generous with her time. I'm sticking with her as my primary doctor, hands down!! The medical profession and the world in general would be so much better off if there were more Karens out there!!!

I honestly can't say enough good things about Karen O'Day and her practice. I wish I lived in…read moreSanta Fe so she could be my primary. I was traveling through and had a time sensitive need. I love Santa Fe, and try to visit often, so having a doctor there was something I knew I'd like...well never once did she treat me like that was weird, or I was less than any of her other patients because (obviously) I wouldn't be a regular. When I chose her (off of Yelp), I was slightly bummed that the only other review didn't elaborate more on the type of care...I was specifically looking for prenatal/maternity care. Well she was just above and beyond everything I hoped for. She was beyond kind, attentive, inquisitive, and INFORMATIVE. She is so knowledgeable and offered me so much of her time to share her wealth thereof with me. It truly put my mind at ease about some potential issues. I am SO grateful to have walked in the door to her practice. Her staff at the front reflected her same ultra-attentive attitudes, keeping me informed of time frames, fees/charges, etc. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. And I typically LOATHE the doctor's office.

Valuable to me in a practitioner are qualities of patience, thoroughness, humility, and collaboration. In my experience visiting St. Francis Health Center, and specifically with my nurse practitioner, Abby Rodriguez, I have felt entirely seen and cared for. The establishment is explicitly feminist and highly regards the voices and opinions of patients, materials in the lobby emphasize the power of women to make their own health choices and it is clear that the St. Francis Health Center exists to support women to do just that. In my checkups with Abby, I never felt like she lacked for time. Abby asked lots of questions pertaining to my physical, mental, and emotional health, in addition to performing a routine physical and ordering blood work. Based on my answers and the results of my blood work, Abby has been able to recommend a range of non-invasive options to support my particular health needs including vitamins, herbs, and supplements, and personally recommending mental health professionals, acupuncturists, various types of alternative and energy therapists. For example, Abby was able to recommend a pre- and post-surgery protocol of vitamins/supplements that accelerated my healing in incredible ways, much to my surgeon's dismay. Throughout my time seeing Abby, I have felt that we were exploring questions and answers together - without the undue pretension of an MD who makes an act of knowing more than they do and discards the infinite potential offered by Eastern/"Alternative" Medicine. I appreciate Abby for embracing and supporting my health interests and helping me to expand my own knowledge and understanding with the deep kindness and compassion you'd want in a personal relationship with someone caring for your whole self. I recommend her and this clinic to anyone.

Attention Caroline Kingston, Carlos Trucco…read more I recently received a highly inappropriate letter from Mr. Trucco to which I am responding and notifying my legal counsel. I had an appointment on April 11 with Ryan Brison to review labs. An abnormality was detected in the urinalysis for which Ryan wrote a script for an antibiotic to be picked up at my local pharmacy in Taos. He also had me provide another sample, which I did. Not receiving any results or a call , I called and was told by the receptionist that the "manager" would review the results and have Ryan call me. No call . I called once again , and spoke to Trucco, who was quite unhelpful and in fact was "rude" himself. He denied that there was a second sample taken. His listening skills are far from a professional standard needed in a medical practice. I received a letter from him today, claiming that I was "again" rude and threaten to terminate me from the practice. There was no previous interaction. Rather then offering an apology, i was presented with denial and offered to return to Sante Fe for another sample. He never even considered suggesting that a referral could be made to Holy Cross hospital and easily obtained by your practice. I highly resent his unprofessional conduct, while also noticing no CC. to the DR. Kingston. I would recommend a disciplinary action. I wish to make it clear that this is not directed to Ryan, just Mr. Trucco's conduct
