Two customers who were on their way out were commenting about the smell. As I walked through the store the odor got stronger. I agree with the other review about the owner's phone calls, too. As I was leaving I mentioned the smell to an employee in case they weren't aware of it. The employee told me it was a problem with the sewer due to it being an old abandoned shopping center. She asked if I had any ideas about what they should do. I did, so she tried to get the owner's attention, but she was too busy on a phone call to talk to us. She took just enough time from her phone call to say, "Yeah, we know about the smell; we're taking care of it." I turned to leave and she muttered something else that I couldn't make out, but I didn't stick around to ask her to repeat what she said. I would imagine any clothing purchased at this store would probably retain that sewer odor.

The atmosphere is rich, rustic, thoughtfully and uniquely decorated but not "pretty". Perfect for me. It's mostly old wooden furniture and fixtures but there are plenty of smaller items to check out, too. If I didn't sell my truck recently, I would have easily purchased a waterfall dresser or some other large piece-- their prices are fair! There were two kind gentlemen running the place together. They genuinely welcomed me and my two grown kids, and seemed pleased to have customers. It's always great to feel valued. The three of us really had fun looking around and we did make some purchases. On my most recent visit I noticed a sign that read one hundred percent of the proceeds from certain items goes directly to Veterans in the Antelope valley. +100. Stopped by here the other day to check what do they have. I got enticed with the 99 cents sale…read moreoutside. Inside is very compacted. Every nook and cranny is used. Just be careful in moving because you might knock some of the breakable displays. They have beautiful things and some antiques. I didn't buy some of them though because I have no place for them. I checked out the clothes, shoes, and bags and so far the prices are competitive with other thrift shops. I would come back again. I forgot to ask though if they buy/trade items. Plenty of parking lot that is shared with other businesses. Dressing room is a plus!!!

I loved the jumpsuit but when I took it off after wearing it for the first time the elastic inside had completely come apart. I hadn't even wore in for an entire day or washed it yet. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this jumpsuit especially since it was on the pricier side. Sadly I do not recommend this place.
