Such a beautifully decorated place and so cozy feels like home. I definitely recommend the marinated zucchini my favorite alongside the merlon steak with a side of sautéed veg! the pargit is also really great with the crispy skin and homemade garlic sauce. Enjoyed every second!!

The staff is very helpful explaining dishes in English and making good recommendations. Fumé has a nice selection of wines. We began our meal with a perfectly sized appetizer Pois chiches citron confit with fresh pita that delighted our pallets and prepared us for what was to come next. The hummus also looked very good as well. For our entrees we had the Filets de bar fumé (fish with vegetables) and Steak de thon fumé (steak with a peppercorn sauce and grill artichokes). The fish and vegetables were amazing. The fish was flaky with an amazing fresh taste to it along with perfectly cooked mix of carrots, zucchini and other veggies. My cousin said it was her favorite meal in Paris. I had the steak with grill artichokes. This is the only complaint I had of the meal - the steak was tough and chewy. I'm use to my steaks being tender and soft, sadly this one was not. However, the accompanies peppercorn sauce was delicious along with the grilled artichokes which were amazing. We ended our meal with a spectacular Mousse au chocolat aux sels fins fumés. It was rich in flavor and silky in texture. A must have. Overall, we had an amazing meal, made new friends with locals eating next to us and Fumé's owner Sasha. A must go when in Paris. Merci Taimy & Yvette

Visited this establishment for its Kosher food, visiting from the US not completely familiar with…read moreFrench customs but did not encounter this at any other restaurant we visited during our 2 week stay in France. We were a party of 2 adults and 4 children. The children were not excited about anything on the menu as they didn't have any kid friendly options. So we ordered 2 entrees and 2 appetizers and 2 glasses of wine to start with and would order more if the kids liked the dishes. This would have amounted to roughly 150 Euro. The restaurant was not busy there were many empty tables. The waiter states "I don't know if I can serve you guys...that isn't enough food you are ordering for 6 people" we were shocked. He proceeded to talk to the owner. Then the owner came to our table and told us he could not serve us we had to order more food. There is no way I would support such a business with such rude customer service especially amongst our community to treat someone like that, knowing we are foreigners is so rude. We happily got up and left. Luckily we ran into a religious couple that told us to go to Bassar, which had amazing food, amazing ambience great service and not a single empty table in the house. It was bustling. And the food was so good we wound up ordering 6 entrees and 3 appetizers and wine. Dont waste your time and money at Kavod. Poor service depressing atmosphere. There are better kosher steakhouses in Paris.

But having grown up in a Muslim household, I can appreciate people's dietary restrictions, and as a kid, I often commiserated with my Jewish friends about not being able to eat bacon or ham or sausages with the other kids. So after stumbling upon a full-service kosher restaurant in Paris that wasn't a falafel, sandwich, or sushi joint, I knew I had to check it out. After all, what sort of French cuisine doesn't involve pork? I want to see this black magic first hand Le Cosy has found a keen, blessed-by-the-rabbis way to substitute the rich, fatty goodness of pig flesh in its dishes: Foie gras. And lots of it. It seems every other dish at Le Cosy features foie gras (coincidentally, there's a store specializing in the fattened livers just across the street) and they're all the better for it. Want an entrecôte? How 'bout a slab of foie gras on top of it? Quail egg mille-feuille? Available with foie gras mixed in. Or perhaps you'd like a foie gras omelette. Or foie gras ravioli. Or foie gras over pasta and mushrooms. Or grilled foie gras flavored with mango? Of course, if you're averse to force-fattened duck, there are great lamb or poultry dishes, imbued with an array of flavors from Earl Grey tea to chocolate to honey. As hard as they try, though, Le Cosy fail to deliver a real gastronomic experience. While the ingredient list definitely oozes class - and oftentimes imagination - the execution isn't quite up to par with the fancy decor and the prices. The names on the menu conjure up vivid colors to match the chic interior, but presentation is dull and bland. Service is a bit lackadaisical. The wine list not particularly impressive. Still, the food tastes brilliant, and the atmosphere is friendly and casual enough. The prices are a bit high for what you get, but if you're in Paris and want to keep kosher without overdosing on falafel, this isn't a bad place to start.
