Horrible, horrible customer service. We had them come and do testing in our home for air quality,…read moreasbestos and mold before we bought it. Upon moving in my husband wanted to rip up old linoleum, at which point we decided to get it tested for asbestos before continuing. He quoted us $175 for mold removal in our basement which the air quality was not the best. When we called, the man who had provided services for us before, got angry with my husband for mentioning the above quoted price, said he would charge more, and when my husband asked if he could have the linoleum brought in for testing, he simply replied "no" and hung up on him. We were happy with our previous services but is this how you treat existing customers who are inquiring to use your services again? Would never recommend to anyone, please find alternative companies who actually appreciate their customers.

Great West Radon is owned and operated by Jordan & Dorothy. They have an immense attention to detail. During the consultation, Jordan explained how they were going to install the radon mitigation system including test holes, how deep the main hole was going to be, where radon typically emits from, etc. This is also included in their scope of work, but it's always nice to have someone explain it all in person. I read a lot of other reviews for radon companies in Calgary and typically when people complain, it's usually relates to contractors that they have hired to do the jobs. I very much liked the fact Jordan (owner) did the install. He's very personable, approachable and diligent. These guys also have a fantastic website. Our radon levels went from ~180 bp/m3 to less than 15 bp/m3 within 24 hours after the installation. Will definitely be recommending these guys to my friends & family.
