A new addition to the Victoria Quarter, and a new addition to my mental catalogue of dedicated stores dedicated solely to the Radley brand. A nice little addition to the Victoria Quarter, even down to the vinyl/plastic curtains stuck to the front of the huge window display (I don't sell it well but it looks pretty and more tasteful than my language has allowed me to describe), it's a cute store that's light and bright and showcases the products beautifully. I can't quite decide who Radley's target market are, I've seen a variety of ladies sporting this distinctive doggy tagged brand, but more recently I've seen the younger folk sashaying around with their sturdy looking Radley bags, nonplussed that they also hone in on the more older lady market. Either way, the leather is rather lovely on the bags, and they all scream Radley in one way or another. Personally I like the longer strap over the shoulder jobbies, and I'm not a fan of the bags with buttons on the front, but plenty of people are, a testament to that is how well they sell. Plus point, store layout makes it nice and easy to get your mitts on the lovelies and have a good paw and poke around at the bag in question. Staff are swings and roundabouts, some are lovely and outgoing with offers of help, some are a bit more snootier. read more
