Mulberry as a designer line is gorgeous, and if handbags are your thing then the finely crafted leather bags are sure to tickle the fancy of handbag lovers. However, thinking you've found a dedicated Mulberry store in the, yes we know, coveted and sophisticated Victoria Quarter, and assuming it would be interesting is a serious let down. It's a snore is what it is. I've heard of not overcrowding a retail space so it looks like the sales racks at TK Maxx, but to call this sparse is a bit of an understatement. Being one of the only Mulberry stores I can think of that stands alone from a line at House of Fraser stores I'da thunk that Mulberry would take advantage of this. But despite hanging £600 bags from papier mache red and orange coated tree branches, the whole thing looks a little boring, and again, dare I say it, unremarkable. There's nothing really to entice you in, aside to enquire about prices, as the large glass front exposes everything that the lower level has to offer, in fact when you do step in, the sales staff look kinda surprised you actually bothered.
