Accent ladies is the little sister store to Accent, located in the same arcade, just literally across the road so to speak. The branding is the same as big brother Accent, and the brand of clothing/shoes/accessories is also in line with Accent Snr. With Accent having a darker layout, wooden floors, jeans table, jeans rack, jeans wall, shoe display etc, it's a shock on the eyes when you've fallen out of one into the other to see the clinical white décor. If you're a fan of the high street type brands like G Star, Replay, Ugg, Religion, Belstaff and Barbour, you will have a healthy selection in Accent Ladies, especially in the jeans department. The ladies is a lot smaller in shop floor space than the fellas, but that doesn't mean the quality of the goods is any less grand. In many ways, this is the girl's version of the boys. It is the more expensive side of casual wear, with cardigans, shirts, skinny tees and the ubiquitous denim ranges, average pair of jeans being £100, and boots run upwards of £100 stopping before the £400. If these sound like your brands and budgets, then it's definitely worth a visit, staff are really helpful, and do warn that if they don't have sizes out on the shop floor, they can have a mooch in the back. The only thing that really winds me up with both this Accent and t'other Accent, you buy it in the wrong size or whatever, and it's credit note only. No refunds given. You're money is forever trapped in the tills whether you like it or not. read more
