I called five companies that service Wheaton. Thomas was the best communicator promptly answering all my questions. There were many questions and concerns because there was a likelihood that the work woils be done without us being present. We are very thankful we went with Gutter Masters. Their price was affordable and their work competent. They did what they promised to do in a courteous and well communicated manner and when the said they would be there. I truly hope their family business continues to prosper. They are deserving. - Lee

Sometimes, small jobs are the hardest to get accomplished. Gerry at Adept responded to my…read moretelephone call and came out to visit our home. We found an inoperative attic fan was the cause of our problems. Gerry ordered the desired product and had his team of professionals complete the installation. Invoicing occurred after so we could make sure we were satisfied with our new attic fan. It all worked out perfectly according to plan, was very timely and came in just under budget. I would recommend and use again.

The team worked hard to get the job done, even when weather was challenging. He responded to e-mails quickly, and showed that he knows how to deal with insurance claims seamlessly. Gerry was also able to get an electrician on site to address a pre-existing issue I had with some electrical outlets. In my experience, Gerry is a standup guy and his pricing is reasonable. Years later, the siding/soffit/fascia still looks like a fresh install and the attic is dry as a bone. No leaks to be found. No regrets with going with Adept.

Sebastian and Steven washed my house and cleaned my gutters today…read more The house washing was well past due and they did an amazing job making the siding look as good as new. They also cleaned the gutters and secured several brackets that had worked their way loose over time. In addition to the job they were contracted for, they volunteered to remove an old satellite dish, put down an ice shield and replaced some shingles. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I would recommend them to everyone for their exterior home projects.

I called DuPage Radon and the very nice woman who answered the phone made it sound like they might cover it, but when she talked to her boss, he said no. Their quote to replace the unit was $400 (they were originally paid approximately $1,200 five years ago) and the soonest they could do it was New Year's Eve. I was able to find the exact same model radon fan at Home Depot for $150 and it literally took me no more than 15 minutes to remove the old unit (and I've never done this before). I'll install the new one when it arrives in the next few days. I don't know about you, but $500 an hour for labor seems excessive to me. Obviously I'm in the wrong profession. Meanwhile, I'm going to remove the DuPage Radon sticker from the cover just out of spite.
