When we got there sure enough the "sale" flyers they had set out AND the sale signs hung up all said 40% masters touch (listing brushes, pads, sketch books, tube and jar paints, etc). So we loaded up and went to check out. After ringing us out the price was high so I said "this was all on sale". The cashier rudely said "no, that was last week"... I said the signs say it's on sale. So she called back and said they'd only honor it for brushes... which out of a bin full of supplies, we only had 2 brushes. Then she proceeded to type something in and did not in fact put the sale price on the brushes but on 2 of the cheapest items... one was a brush and the other a small sketch pad. Why??! This is frustrating. We drove 45 minutes to shop here and they won't honor the sales flyer THEY posted. On top of that the cashier was super rude. I work in customer service so I am overly polite and try to never be condescending. She was just plain rude the whole time. So... what can we do about it? I guess the only option left is to complain (yelp review) and "vote with our money" by not shopping here any more. TLDR: rude cashier and they don't honor their sales adds.

They charged for both. Was told by the cashier not sure about that either, checked in with her boss he said sounds a little strange let me check into it typed in his computer/tablet and said I'll be right back said then said yes their both for that one price.
