They're bombarding me at the desk with my husband asking me when I retired?. I'm not a patient here. I'm not seeing the doctor. How dare they? They're telling me Medicare wants to know? well if Medicare wants to know the Medicare should be contacting me as an individual. I will not be stepping foot back into this practice ever again. actually this office not the doctors.!

Dr. Allen Ferrucci of Ortho Now misdiagnosed me and told me I needed surgery on my ankle ASAP!…read more They also was sent home and told that my ankle was broken and they gave me a boot which did not fit properly. I also was not given lifts to make my walking even. And I subsequently fell once again because the boot was not fitted correctly and was not given lifts to make my walking even!! I thank God that I got a second opinion from another doctor from Yale. She was amazing and said I did NOT need surgery and my foot was not broken!! She strongly recommended PT at a PT center of my choice which has been very beneficial. I believe Ortho Now is a racket!! They have their own PT center, which is awful, their own MRI place and of course their own surgery center!! I sense money is OrthoNow's main objective when they are treating injured people. To sum up, avoid OrthoNow like the plague! In summary they misdiagnosed me, they gave me a boot which did not fit properly and then to add insult to more injury Dr Ferrucci strongly insisted that I have UNNEEDED ankle surgery ASAP!! A word to the wise seek out another orthopedic practice before going to OrthoNow. Your Skelton will Thank You!!

Antunes was very brief asked if I was diabetic twice but never touched my back or did a BP reading…read moreor weight or temp. I came in for lower back pain- a 15 minute visit got billed $194. I paid $100.81 which was the amount I owed. OrthoNow has sent me three bills since October for the same amount broken into different confugurations of $100.81. I paid the bill and I'm never going back there. Ridiculous! Also, I got three X-rays- Medicare pays for x-rays, btw.

I get an appointment, Dr. states that there is nothing he can do until I get my inflammation numbers down (rheumatoid arthritis.) Also I should go on a biologic & make an appointment with another Dr.????? I go on a biologic & go back after a couple of months (and 2 co-pays) now they can't do anything because they say my knee is bone on bone & I need to make an appointment with another Dr. I had a full set of X-rays about a year ago (told the Dr this) and at that time I was told I had "mild erosion" of the knee joint. The Dr at the Ortho. Group stated that there is no way this happened in 1 year????? So the 1st radiology group is lying??? I called the ortho group yesterday requesting a call from the doctor, no return call. As I am speaking with the office, they tell me the Dr I was seeing in the group, knees really weren't his area. So why did they give me an appointment with someone who doesn't deal with knees, when I specifically stated that I was having a problem with my knee???? I call them again today to see what's going on & why no return call. The office swears they called yesterday (I was home all day) and that they left a message. So I asked what number did they call, she didn't know & I received no message.
