Since the doctor explaiend that even if I had broken ribs from my fall there was not much she could do. So I left while they called the answering service a fourth time demanding that they instruct the doctor to call the receptionist to "clarify" her instructions. Awful service.

Dr. Fumo is brilliant. I have to go to here three times every two weeks. My only gripe with this hospital is that they let employees park in the visitor lot because the employee lot is a long walk. By 10am the visitor lot is usually full and parking is impossible because there are no alternatives. I end up driving on the grass and parking there. I don't understand why they don't enforce this undesirable situation.

I was told flat out by two people that they don't care if the office policy violates HIPAA and they refused to provide a copy of my ultrasound report to me until my healthcare provider discussed them with me first. Then they said they were calling my healthcare provider to essentially reprimand her for not discussing my results with me yet after I explained they hadn't been received at the time of my last appointment and that I didn't want to bother the provider for them. The radiology office is down the street from my home. My provider is an hour away. I didn't want to pester the provider for something I'm a) entitled to BY FEDERAL LAW from the radiologist and b) I could literally swing by and pick up directly from Hammers. So not only do they feel it is appropriate to violate federal law (which was confirmed for me by the federal office that regulates HIPAA, btw), they made a 23-weeks-pregnant woman cry because they are essentially threatening my relationship with my healthcare provider by calling her and bitching her out when I could have just called and asked her myself. I didn't want to pester her or cause her any trouble, and instead they've now done just that. The emotional part aside, they apparently don't care at all about patient privacy laws in favor of their office policy. I will not ever be returning to this practice again.

I have been a patient of the Wallingford Hartford Medical Group for over 20 years. I have been in…read morethe hands of the same providers with zero issues until recently. Since my practitioner of 20 years left the practice, the quality of care at HMG has declined tremendously. Myself, as well as ALL OTHER PATIENTS of the practice who take anxiety/depression medication were told that we can no longer be prescribed the medication by a provider. We need to see a behavioral health specialist. I fill my prescription once every 4-6 months. I have never had an issue filling my rx in the past. Within the past 2 weeks, I have asked the office staff to work with me in finding a provider either in the office, or another office associated with this office. I have spoken to multiple people, including the manager. They have provided me with no solution. I was told that none of the Drs in the office are comfortable working with a long term behavioral health patient due to the opioid crisis and how it effects their license. If this was going to be such an issue for so many patients, the practice should have made arrangements for patients prior to my doctor leaving. Instead, we're all being dropped with no assistance. This is a huge issue for me. It is a huge inconvenience for me to have to find my own care, as I was in the care of these doctors for so many years. I have since fired this practice, and will be searching for a new GP who actually cares about the patients. Since the practice switched to HMG and moved from Masonic Ave, they have changed many of their regulations and standard practices, which leaves the long term patients feeling lost and confused. The lack of communication in this office further proves to me, as well as many other patients that switching locations, and the loss of our practitioner means that we will not be receiving the care and concern we are accustomed to. If you're looking for genuine care and concern from a healthcare practice, you will not find it here.

They said he was ok even this he had a small lump and cut above the eye, my nurse friend said they should of send us to ER instead of saying he was ok!!! I did go to ER and he had a concussion, they never even called to see how he was, I guess as long as those papers were signed, who cares right?!! I should of never signed them but I was so distracted at the time and not thinking straight and thinking back they definitely took advantage of that, shame on you Pediatrics of Wallingford! my husband and I take our son to this pediatric office. We have been since he was born. my son was…read moreborn at almost 6 pounds so he was very fragile. We had an incident where he was choking and ended up in the hospital for precautions and this doctors office called and checked on him. They have been very respectful to our family. They have been very patient with ALL my phone calls. and they have respected any of our decisions as parents. Dr. Jennings sees our son and I personally love him! Along with our favorite nurse Eden.
