When she learned it was my wedding, I clarified I didn't need bridal services, so I asked for regular rates. She agreed. She provided standard customer service after that, nothing extra. Neither my husband nor friends sided with her. My husband texted her the night before, before seeing our messages and unaware I'd canceled my personal appointment. The next morning, she texted him claiming she canceled all appointments due to my "rudeness." Once he and my friends saw our texts, they were furious on my behalf. Honestly, it says a lot about her character that she's implying my husband and friends sided with her in order to give her "context" extra weight. To clarify: the biggest and most disturbing problem was her refusal to stop explaining herself, despite me repeatedly pleading with her to stop. After she texted me *yet again* at 7am on my wedding day, I lost it. Even after ruining my wedding day, she's still doing it. Case in point, y'all. ------- Lauren was the single biggest mistake of my wedding planning process. What should have been a special, seamless morning turned into a complete nightmare because of her total lack of professional boundaries, refusal to listen to client needs, and relentless insistence on arguing late into the night (AND morning) before my wedding. ​Refusal to Fulfill Requested Service: At 8pm the night before my wedding, I texted her a question, and she revealed for the first time that her salon's shampoo bowl was broken. My mom has curly hair, and I had specifically requested that her curls be diffused. Instead, Lauren offered a blowout (which does not work for curly hair) and refused to adjust the pricing or refund the service she could no longer properly deliver. ​ Disorganization & Ignoring Boundaries: Throughout our exchange, she continually confused my details, referencing services I never requested and people not in my party. When I tried to step away to spend time with out-of-town family before bed, she repeatedly called. When I called her back, she refused to stop re-explaining herself even when I reflected (accurately, according to her) back what she was saying. I told her that we simply disagreed and I understood that I had no recourse. I repeatedly asked for space. ​Crossing the Line: Pushed to absolute exhaustion by her continuous badgering on the eve of my wedding, I finally broke and told her I wouldn't be coming in for my own appointment. Then, she paused, became quiet, and told me I was just stressed out and she hopes to see me in the morning... then *again* tried to explain her reasoning! And then AGAIN on the morning of my wedding!!! I was absolutely flabbergasted. The End Result: She explicitly clarified that she would complete the remaining services in the contract with professionalism. I responded, fed-up with her repeatedly crossing the line, "yeah, of course you will, because you're a goddamn professional!" Without a word, she no-showed on my bridal party. They were all texting and calling me, wondering where she was. ​Because of the distress and chaos caused by her behavior, I spent the morning of my wedding bawling on the kitchen floor. I missed the first 3-4 hours of my wedding day, missed my First Look and bridal portraits, and my husband and I missed the entire cocktail hour with our guests. I arrived at the venue 5 minutes before I walked down the aisle. We got one day. One. A $30,000, once-in-a-lifetime day. If she responds, she'll probably talk about how she gave me a special price, agreed to come in an hour earlier when my day-of coordinator told me I needed to be ready earlier, and agreed to do my mom's hair instead of my sister's makeup (because my sister - and maid-of-honor - broke her hip and couldn't come). The services were the same price. What she won't mention? That at every chance she got, she reminded me of how accommodating she was being and how I'm lucky to have found her. ​While she refunded the cost of the services, a financial refund does not undo the emotional turmoil she caused or give me back the irreplaceable moments she ruined. I don't care how skilled she is or how much experience she has. Do not chance it. It's your wedding day.

I moved to Seattle from OC and for the last four years have not been impressed with the quality of spray tans here in the area. I truly mean this- this is the best spray tan I have ever received. There was not spots or blotchiness (not even in hands, elbows or ankles). The solution was perfect for me- dark but not orange. Also in the comfort of my own home- didn't have to go anywhere and was done in no time. LeAnne is amazing!!! She knows her stuff. Makes you feel so comfortable. She helps you through the entire process, is super quick to respond and overall just really likable. I did this as a trial for my wedding and wouldn't recommend anyone else! This was right before Florida and even being out in the sun didn't ruin it or make me look orange at all. Cannot go wrong.

I had only had one spray tan in the past, and the girl did an awesome job, but I didn't put enough effort into the before and after care to make sure it lasted as long as possible. This time, when I booked with Amy, I made sure to listen closely and take notes on what I needed to do before and after my spray tan. Amy and I had a quick phone call when I reached out about the appointment. I scheduled at least a month in advance, so I can't really speak to how easily you could get in last minute. I had no problems scheduling. Our phone call was super helpful. We went through all of the instructions and she gave me a lot of before care advice that I followed until my appointment. When it was finally appointment day, I went in for my spray tan! Amy was super welcoming and kind. She told me my skin looked good for the spray tan, which was music to my ears, because I had been doing all of her before care suggestions! We talked a bit about which spray tan option I would go for and what shade I wanted to achieve. We ended up deciding on a rapid tan option with a medium shade. I think I left it on for about 4-5 hours... Throughout my appointment, Amy was very respectful and friendly. She gave me product recommendations for body wash and sunscreen, which was super helpful! When the appointment ended, we realized it was raining outside. I didn't have an umbrella, so Amy offered to walk me out to my car with one of her umbrellas! It was one of the nicest things ever. She escorted me to my car and we said our goodbyes. She made it clear that I could reach out to her with any questions or concerns, which was super nice! After 4-5 hours, I took a shower and rinsed off (no soap). When I woke up the next day, I had an absolutely beautiful bronze glow! I truly was amazed by how gorgeous the color was. It got me extra excited for my trip. :) The spray tan lasted throughout the entirety of my trip, although it did fade a bit (which was inevitable because I was in the ocean quite a bit). When we packed up to come home, I still had a little bit of color on my body. I was surprised that it lasted that long! I know that it was due to the advice that Amy gave me for after care. As a tip: she only accepts cash so make sure you have that on hand. Don't worry though, she'll go through all of this with you before your appointment!
