Only for the safety of the kids and have cones to label parking and non parking spots. Parking is extremely unorganized on the street and causes a major safety issues and also unnecessary traffic. I know they have a police car parked at school property but someone should be outside directing traffic.

The staff cares very little about their students especially their English speaking students. They cater to their Spanish speaking students more. The school is also poor in that they do not receive much funding. The wrestling team doesn't even have an entire mat to wrestle nor their own space to conduct practice. They practiced on the cafeteria stage, on 1/3 of a wrestling mat.

Mr. Hernandez is known by his students for not teaching anything and complaining when we learn nothing. I have had many bad experiences with Mr. Hernandez but one really sticks out for me, I was feeling sick so I went to the restroom but the one on my floor was closed so I went to the floor below and threw up in the restroom A LOT. I came back after 20 minutes and he told me "You spent 20 minutes in the restroom. You are only allowed 5 minutes." He stuck a paper in my face that stated only 5 minutes in the restroom. When I tried to explain my situation he wouldn't listen and gave me a referral. Mr. Hernandez has made my experience at El Paso High one star.

I attended Coronado during my Freshmen year of high school! Over all, I had a good experience at…read morethis school! The building were really out dated but as I passed by recently, I see they are re doing the main building and others will be re done as well! Coronado has many clubs and activities to join and on top of that, has many sports teams you can join! I did end up leaving the school my sophomore year because their softball team wasn't the best when I was there so I dropped my transfer and headed back to Franklin but I will always appreciate the time I had at Coronado!

I feel my children are safe and being shown Christian values. I had my other children in public school and there were fights almost on a daily basis. Not here, the children and staff are held to a high standard of conduct. Of course not all the children are saved and make mistakes, but the staff handles it. I plan to keep my children here, God willing.
