Mr. Hernandez is known by his students for not teaching anything and complaining when we learn nothing. I have had many bad experiences with Mr. Hernandez but one really sticks out for me, I was feeling sick so I went to the restroom but the one on my floor was closed so I went to the floor below and threw up in the restroom A LOT. I came back after 20 minutes and he told me "You spent 20 minutes in the restroom. You are only allowed 5 minutes." He stuck a paper in my face that stated only 5 minutes in the restroom. When I tried to explain my situation he wouldn't listen and gave me a referral. Mr. Hernandez has made my experience at El Paso High one star.

There aren't a lot of seats, but enough for the crowd. I felt badly for the players as they were facing the sun the whole game. The bathroom is in the school, so it's a little walk if you need to use the facilities. For a nice place to watch softball, give this school a try.

I recently attended this school as class of 2026, let me say this school had some of the most…read moredisrespectful kids I have seen, I was constantly bullied everyday, and I came from a school for learning disabilities, so needless to say, I didn't have the typical middle school experience which led me to being very neurodivergent. at this school, my peers didn't care where I came from and wouldnt let me enjoy anything there, my own friends would be dicks to me and abandon me, I would never wish an experience like this to other kids who probably likewise have social problems. I knew a kid with autism that would be bullied just for having it, this Schools students are cruel and need to be humbled especially if they are so called "being prepared for adulthood". The building were really out dated but as I passed by recently, I see they are re doing the main building and others will be re done as well! Coronado has many clubs and activities to join and on top of that, has many sports teams you can join! I did end up leaving the school my sophomore year because their softball team wasn't the best when I was there so I dropped my transfer and headed back to Franklin but I will always appreciate the time I had at Coronado!

The staff cares very little about their students especially their English speaking students. They cater to their Spanish speaking students more. The school is also poor in that they do not receive much funding. The wrestling team doesn't even have an entire mat to wrestle nor their own space to conduct practice. They practiced on the cafeteria stage, on 1/3 of a wrestling mat.
