The year started with one teacher who a few months in was moved to another classroom and they brought in her current teacher Mrs. James, she is the nicest and friendliest she cares for the students and challenges them to be successful and reach their potential. I was surprised to my daughter getting homework but that has been a blessing in disguise. We enjoy helping our daughter every night with her assignments it helps her learn more and shows her we are there for her in her growth (spiritually and academically). Mr. Carlos is great as well, prior to the start of the school year we took the time to visit with a few schools and meet with the principals and try to decide which school would be best for our daughter. He met with us and gave us a tour of the campus. This was the only school our daughter liked and that we agreed upon mutually. The culture at this school is great, they show the students about the foundations of the Bible and living a righteous life. I don't believe this should fall solely upon the school to implement these core values. It really falls upon us as parents. However, the school and their staff really do an awesome job of teaching this to the students. The school has several activities throughout the school year that are open invitation to the parent if they wish to opt into attending or lending a hand. I highly recommend if you can do it, my wife and I did that many times and we really enjoyed it not to mention our daughter enjoyed us being there as well. Most recently we went to the zoo which was a lot of fun. We really look forward to the upcoming school year and all the fun activities. Please if you are considering this school do not go solely based on the negative reviews, I personally believe them to be biased. This school and it's teachers / staff are all amazing! If you have any doubts reach out to them for clarification. You will see they are a Godsend!

Overall, a bad school fails to provide the necessary support and structure for students to thrive academically and personally.

My daughter came here last year since she was struggling in math. Because of COVID, a lot of kids…read morelost out on the face to face interaction with their teacher. Even school tutoring wasn't doing it. So we tried Slyvain and this worked out the best. After a few months, my daughter caught up in what she missed out on. She did well in the last semester and started the new school year acing everything. She took some time off from tutoring, but she is back to help her reinforce some weak areas and prepare for next year. I recommend bringing your child here to catch up on what your child missed due to COVID. It will be well worth it.

It got so bad I, and a couple other parents, removed our children from the class and put them in another school. The new school informed me that she was severely behind the rest of the class. She finished out the year at the new school, but because of the stress from her previous teacher her confidence was gone and her attitude changed drastically. I spoke with Michelle and her husband at Tutoring U, and they explained how they work with the students. I walked out of that meeting and could not wait to get my daughter started! Later that week I took my daughter in so she could be tested so they could see what her strengths and weaknesses were. They immediately gave me the results of her tests - no waiting - and they set her up on a tutoring plan. Immediately I started to see changes in my daughter! Her confidence was returning, she was happy and her stress was gone. Most important she was learning - A LOT! She was caught up on all the previous year's lessons and she was ready to start the new year. Currently, we are a few weeks into the new school year and her teacher has commented how advance she is math and reading and that she knows how to properly study. We previously tried the other national chain tutoring centers; they were very expensive, did not have one on one teaching (it was more like 4 to 1) and all they seemed to care about was having you sign a lengthy contract. I love that the tutoring is one-on-one. The curriculum focuses on the student's weaknesses, but will also review their strengths. I was always told what my daughter would be working on and how she did on the lesson. I was so happy with the progress my daughter made that half way through the summer I enrolled my younger daughter so she could get a start on the new school year. I will continue to use Tutoring U and I highly recommend their services. Thank you so much for helping my daughters!!

Most recently, and most personally, I am able to laminate materials for use in the classroom, ensuring that these student-used documents will be available for use in many future lessons. I am very appreciative of this facility, and it certainly gets my "Wheel of Approval!"

All the teachers were great. The best I had were Mrs. Solo (now retired) and Mrs. Ereng. The school itself had many clubs and activities that you could join such as: student council, gay straight alliance, a video game club, yearbook, newspaper, band, orchestra, theatre, and many sports teams. When I got cancer my senior year, they were also very helpful in getting me what I needed and support so that I could still graduate with my class!
