Mr. Hernandez is known by his students for not teaching anything and complaining when we learn nothing. I have had many bad experiences with Mr. Hernandez but one really sticks out for me, I was feeling sick so I went to the restroom but the one on my floor was closed so I went to the floor below and threw up in the restroom A LOT. I came back after 20 minutes and he told me "You spent 20 minutes in the restroom. You are only allowed 5 minutes." He stuck a paper in my face that stated only 5 minutes in the restroom. When I tried to explain my situation he wouldn't listen and gave me a referral. Mr. Hernandez has made my experience at El Paso High one star.

I'm sure many students have a positive experience there. But if your child does not easily fit into the category of "most kids," I genuinely encourage you to proceed with caution and advocate early and often. Our experience left us feeling unheard, unsupported, and emotionally exhausted. And with the district already facing significant budget issues and anticipated staffing cuts next year, I worry deeply about how students who need additional support will be affected moving forward.

This is one of the best things about El Paso...the community cares and takes the time to show what makes them proud of their city! I loved that my kids saw how much the campuses supports each other since we were selling for Tippin Elementary. The Brown campus is big! The shape is like an airplane and it's 2 stories, they have a huge awesome cafeteria decorated in my opinion like Simpsons land with cute fronts and diner style booths. They have a large gym with volleyball at the moment utilizing it and a CrossFit program! The most impressive to me was the STEM program in the new tech hall. They have group classes and a fab lab with Lego robotics and several 3D print labs. This is definitely a school that invests in their students future. It's also the only EPISD STEM certified middle school (6-8 grades) that enables them to earn college credits. They also have the program in dual language as well. We are definitely happy that this is another great option for our kiddos and had no idea that all this exists since we just started our schooling journey. So glad our tax dollars show up in the state of the art classes and curriculum. And it all started with a box of chocolates..."you never know what you're gonna get".

I knew a kid with autism that would be bullied just for having it, this Schools students are cruel and need to be humbled especially if they are so called "being prepared for adulthood".
